 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 1- PLANS SUBMITTED CALL FOR REMOVAL OF ENTIRE SECOND
 FLOOR AND STAIRS. NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING
 PLANS, DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW ROOF. SPECIFY
 THE CURRENT CODE, WIND DESIGN CRITERIA INCLUDING THE
 ULTIMATE WIND LOAD AND NOMINAL WIND LOAD, BUILDING
 EXPOSURE, ETC. AS REQUIRED BY SEC. SEC. R301.2.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND SEC. 107.3.5.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- PLANS SUBMITTED CALL FOR A NEW LARGE SLIDING GLASS
 DOOR BY THE PROPOSED DINING AREA. NEED TO PROVIDE
 COMPLETE FRAMING PLANS, DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 NEW SLIDING GLASS DOORS. ALSO, SPECIFY THE SIZE OF THE
 GLASS DOORS. SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- PROPOSED PLANS SUBMITTED SHOW A DOOR TO BE REPLACED
 WITH A WINDOW AT THE REAR OF THE LIVING AREA. NEED TO
 PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING PLANS, DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW WINDOW. ALSO, SPECIFY THE TYPE
 AND SIZE OF THE NEW WINDOW. SEC. R301.2.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 4- PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN DOESN'T HAVE ANY DIMENSIONS.
 PROVIDE ALL THE DIMENSIONS FOR ALL NEW AREAS. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- PROVIDE THE NAME AND SIGNATURE OF THE PERSON
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) SLIDING GLASS DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) NEW WINDOWS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 C) NEW INSWING ENTRY DOOR AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 7- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS
 (INCLUDING THE ROOFING PRODUCT APPROVALS) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 8- ENGINEER DOING THE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS SPECIFIED
 ONE ROW OF FASTENERS AT 4 INCHES O.C. AT THE LAP AND 8
 ROWS OF FASTENERS IN THE FIELD AT 4 INCHES O.C.
 ENGINEER TO PROVIDE SKETCH SHOWING HOW THE 9 ROWS OF
 FASTENERS ARE GOING TO BE PLACED IF FASTENERS CAN NOT
 BE PLACED LESS THAN 4 INCHES O.C. SEE SEC. 8.1 OF RAS
 117.
  
 9- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW BASED ON ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS.
 VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE
 VALUATION OR PROVIDE COPY OF SIGNED CONTRACTS INCLUDING
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES FOR BUILDING OFFICIAL
 REVIEW/APPROVAL.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
