 REVIEW CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 1- PLANS SUBMITTED ARE NOT CLEAR. THEY DON'T SPECIFY
 WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF WORK AND WHERE. ALSO, PLANS
 SUBMITTED DON'T MATCH WHAT IS ON THE CITY RECORDS AND
 THE PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER WEBSITE. FOR
 EXAMPLE, PLANS SUBMITTED SHOW TWO BATHROOMS. CITY
 RECORDS AND PROPERTY APPRAISER ONLY SHOW ONE BATHROOM.
 ALSO, THE FOOTPRINT OF PLANS SUBMITTED IS BIGGER THAN
 THE FOOTPRINT SHOWN ON CITY RECORDS AND PROPERTY
 APPRAISER.
 ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS, THERE ARE MANY EXPIRED
 PERMITS APPLICATIONS ON THIS PROPERTY. SUCH PERMIT
 APPLICATIONS WERE FOR REPLACEMENT OF DOORS AND WINDOWS
 AND FOR ADDITION OF THE LIVABLE AREA. ALSO, THERE ARE
 SOME PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE WHEN THIS HOUSE WAS FOR SALE
 SHOWING SOME FAIRLY NEW EXTERIOR DOORS AND WINDOWS.
 THERE ARE NO CITY RECORDS FOR REPLACEMENT OF DOORS AND
 WINDOWS (THERE IS A RED TAG WITH 4X FEE FOR WINDOW WORK
 WITHOUT PERMIT).
 IF THE INTENTION IS TO CORRECT ALL WORK THAT MAY HAVE
 BEEN DONE WITHOUT PERMITS, THEN PROVIDE COMPLETE SETS
 OF PLANS DRAWN TO SCALE, SHOWING ALL THE DIMENSIONS OF
 ALL ROOMS AND SHOWING ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK THAT IS
 PENDING. SUCH PLANS NEED TO HAVE THE NAME AND SIGNATURE
 OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN. SEC. 107.2.1

 RESPONSE:
 PLANS SUBMITTED FROM YVES LUBIN, PE:
  
 A) CLARIFY WHERE IS THE ONE HOUR FIRE RATED WALL
 PARTITION SHOWN ON SHEET A GOING TO BE INSTALLED. IT IS
 NOT CLEAR WHY BUILDING A ONE HOUR FIRE RATED WALL IN A
 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS IS FOR INTERIOR
 REMODELING ONLY. BASED ON THE DRAWINGS SUBMITTED IT
 LOOKS LIKE WORK WAS DONE WITHOUT THE PERMITS BEING
 APPROVED.
 PERMIT APPLICATIONS WERE SUBMITTED BUT THEY WERE NOT
 APPROVED BECAUSE REQUIRED INFORMATION WAS NOT SUBMITTED
 FOR APPROVAL.
 THE FOLLOWING ARE THE EXPIRED PERMIT APPLICATIONS:
  
 EXPIRED PERMIT APPLICATION #05110324 WAS FOR THE
 ADDITION OF THE ROOM AT THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. PERMIT
 WAS NEVER ISSUED.
  
 EXPIRED PERMIT APPLICATION #05120800 WAS FOR THE
 ADDITION OF THE FRONT ENTRANCE. PERMIT WAS NEVER
 ISSUED.
  
 EXPIRED PERMIT APPLICATION #08090049 WAS FOR THE
 REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS/DOORS AND TO BRING THE REAR
 ADDITION UP TO CODE. PERMIT WAS NEVER ISSUED EITHER.
  
 NEED TO EITHER INCLUDE THE WORK OF THE EXPIRED PERMITS
 IN THIS PERMIT APPLICATION (PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INFORMATION: STRUCTURAL PLANS/DETAILS FOR THE TWO
 ADDITIONS, PRODUCT APPROVALS AND ENERGY CALCULATIONS)
 OR PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION UNDER SEPARATE PERMITS.
 CONTRACTOR TO ADVICE HOW ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE.
  
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 2- FOR WINDOW REPLACEMENT NEED TO SPECIFY THE TYPE AND
 SIZE OF WINDOW TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE BEDROOM
 EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 702.5 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE.
  
 RESPONSE:
 COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1 ABOVE.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR ALL EXTERIOR DOORS, WINDOWS, WINDOW
 MULLIONS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1 ABOVE.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 4- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW BASED ON ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK. VALUATION TO
 INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND
 PROFIT AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE VALUATION OR PROVIDE COPY
 OF SIGNED CONTRACTS INCLUDING DESIGN PROFESSIONAL.

 PLANS REQUIRE REVIEW BY THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE. CALL
 (561) 233-5025. UPON APPROVAL OF PLANS, YOU MAY CHECK
 OUT ONE PLAN SET AND TAKE TO THAT OFFICE FOR REVIEW.
 PLEASE RETURNED STAMPED AND WITH A COPY OF THE RECEIPT
 AS APPLICABLE. PLEASE PROVIDE THE MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEE
 QUESTIONNAIRE FORM TO THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE. THE

 ONCE PLANS ARE APPROVED. NEED TO BRING ONE SET OF PLANS
 TO PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT. BRING
 BACK STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE
 DUE.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
