 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 SHOW COMPLIANCE FOR AN ACCESSIBLE ROLL-IN SHOWER AND
 COMPLIANCE WITH 608.5.2 STANDARD ROLL-IN TYPE SHOWER
 COMPARTMENTS.
 IN STANDARD ROLL-IN TYPE SHOWER COMPARTMENTS, THE
 CONTROLS, FAUCETS, AND SHOWER SPRAY UNIT SHALL BE
 LOCATED ABOVE THE GRAB BAR, BUT NO HIGHER THAN 48
 INCHES (1220 MM) ABOVE THE SHOWER FLOOR. WHERE A SEAT
 IS PROVIDED, THE CONTROLS, FAUCETS, AND SHOWER SPRAY
 UNIT SHALL BE INSTALLED ON THE BACK WALL ADJACENT TO
 THE SEAT WALL AND SHALL BE LOCATED 27 INCHES (685 MM)
 MAXIMUM FROM THE SEAT WALL.

 3B) 2ND REQUEST. NEW DETAIL DOES NOT GIVE ANY CEILING
 DETAIL. RESPONSE INDICATES S SIGNED CONTRACT WITH SCOPE

 1ST ROUND COMMENT. SHEET A2 DETAIL 8 SHOWS THE USE OF
 AN ACOUSTICAL DROPPED CEILING FOR IN THE SHOWER
 COMPARTMENT. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION FBC-B 2509.3 WHERE
 WATER RESISTANT GYPSUM BACKING BOARD SHALL NOT BE USED.
  
 3C) 2ND REQUEST. NO RESPONSE COMMENT TO THIS CODE
 ISSUE.
  
 3C)(1) THE PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO HOW THE JOINT FROM
 THE BACKER BOARD FOR TILE WILL BE SEALED TO THE FLOOR.
 THE 2017 FBC-B SECTION 1210.2.1 INDICATES THE
 INTERSECTIONS OF SUCH FLOORS WITH WALLS SHALL HAVE A
 SMOOTH, HARD, NONABSORBENT VERTICAL BASE THAT EXTENDS
 UPWARD ONTO THE WALLS NOT LESS THAN 4 INCHES.
  
 3C)(2) 2ND REQUEST. THE WHOLE ROOM NEEDS TO BE DESIGNED
 AS A SHOWER. PLEASE PROVIDE A BLOWN UP DETAIL FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE SHOWER PLAN INTERSECTS WITH THE
 WALL AND TO WHAT HEIGHT THE SHOWER PAN NEEDS TO BE IN
 THE VERTICAL PLANE AND THE LAP OF THE DUROROCK BOARD.

 SEALED, PITCHED TO THE DRAIN NOR THE REQUIREMENTS UNDER
 THE PLUMBING CODE FOR A SHOWER LINING. FBC-P 417.2. /

 3D) SEMI-COMPLIED. SHEET A-2 DETAIL # 4 NOW SHOWS THE
 MIRROR WITH A TRIM SURROUND. THE VERTICAL MEASUREMENT
 IS TAKEN FROM FINISH FLOOR TO THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE
 MIRROR, NOT THE BOTTOM OF THE
 REFLECTIVE SURFACE.
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 603.3 MIRRORS. MIRRORS
 LOCATED ABOVE LAVATORIES OR COUNTERTOPS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE REFLECTING
 SURFACE 40 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
  
 3E) NEW COMMENT. SHEET A-2 DETAIL 3 IS A CODE COMPLIANT
 FOR THE WATER CLOSET PAPER DISPENSER. THE ISSUE
 IS WITH DETAIL # 7 AND THE UPPER LEFT NOMENCLATURE (A)
 FOR THE WATER CLOSET PAPER DISPENSER ARE NOT IN THE
 CORRECT LOCATION.
 TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS. 2017 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 604.7
 DISPENSERS. TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 309.4 AND SHALL BE 7 INCHES MINIMUM AND 9 INCHES
 MAXIMUM IN FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET MEASURED TO THE
 CENTERLINE OF THE DISPENSER. THE OUTLET OF THE
 DISPENSER SHALL BE 15 INCHES MINIMUM AND 48 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR AND SHALL NOT BE LOCATED
 BEHIND GRAB BARS. DISPENSERS SHALL NOT BE OF A TYPE
 THAT CONTROLS DELIVERY OR THAT DOES NOT ALLOW
 CONTINUOUS PAPER FLOW.
  
 3F) NEW COMMENT. SHEET A2 DETAILS 2 & 3 BOTH SHOW THE
 GRAB BAR BEING MEASURED FROM FINISH FLOOR TO THE CENTER
 OF THE GRAB BAR. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
 GRAB BARS/ RESTROOMS. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 609.4 POSITION OF GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM
 AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED
 TO THE TOP OF THE GRIPPING SURFACE, NOT CENTERLINE.
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. IN THE OLD LAYOUT OF THE
 RESTROOMS THERE WERE NO WINDOWS ON THE EXTERIOR WALL.
 ON THE NEW LAYOUT THE ADA RESTROOM # 2 HAS THE LAVATORY
 IN THE WINDOW. THE PLANS DO NOT HAVE A DETAIL FOR THIS
 CONFIGURATION, THE SUBMITTED ADA DETAIL 4 ON SHEET A-2
 HAS A MIRROR LOCATED BEHIND THE LAV. 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED, CODE COMPLIANCE
 CANNOT BE DETERMINED AT THIS TIME.
  
 4) 2ND REQUEST. THIS IS A CONDO BUILDING. WITH THE
 UNIFYING 2 UNITS YOU NEED TO COMPLETE A UNITY OF TITLE.
 UNITY OF TITLE. THE PROPOSED BUILDING STRUCTURE
 TRANSGRESSES LEGAL BOUNDARY LINES BETWEEN THE LOTS
 WHICH COMBINE TO FORM 'THE SITE'. A 'UNITY OF TITLE'
 SHALL BE
 RECORDED AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE. SUBMIT A COPY OF THE
 RECORDED 'UNITY OF TITLE' DOCUMENT SO THAT FBC TABLE
 601 BOUNDARY LINE REQUIREMENTS MAY BE DEEMED NOT
 APPLICABLE.
