 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) CODE RESEARCH INDICATES THE MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE
 AS TYPE III. THERE IS A QUESTION AS TO WHICH CODE YOU
 ARE REFERENCING. THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT IN 1976, ARE
 YOU REFERENCING THE CODE AT TIME THE BUILDING WAS
 BUILT? THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE ALSO CHANGED FROM THE 2001
 FBC-B TYPE III CONSTRUCTION TO IN THE 2004 FBC TO IV
 HEAVY TIMBER. TODAYS CODE THE 2017 FBC-B THE
 TERMINOLOGY WOULD BE:
 TYPE III-A 1-HOUR PROTECTED
 TYPE III-B NON-PROTECTED
 PLEASE INDICATE THE CURRENT CONSTRUCTION TYPE.
 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.

 2A) SHEET A-1 INDICATES CHAIRS NEXT TO THE INSWING
 DOORWAY IN THE WAITING ROOM AND THE INFUSION ROOM.
 TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 404.2.4, TABLE 404.2.4.1 & FIGURE 404.2.4.1(A).
  
 2B) THE DEMO PLAN SHOWS ALL OF THE WALLS OF THE
 EXISTING BATHROOMS REMOVED. THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN
 INDICATES A BACKWALL MEASUREMENT OF 6 FEET 9 INCHES.
 THIS MEASUREMENT IS TOO SMALL TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE ACCESS. CODE SECTION 604.3.1 SIZE AND 604.3.2
 OVERLAP. THE MINIMUM MEASUREMENT FINISH TO FINISH IS 7
 FEET 1 INCH.
  
 2C) IN EACH OF THE 2 ACCESSIBLE BATHROOMS THERE ARE
 NOTES FOR A HAND HELD SHOWER AND SHOWER DRAIN. PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE FOR AN ACCESSIBLE ROLL-IN SHOWER AND
 COMPLIANCE WITH 608.5.2 STANDARD ROLL-IN TYPE SHOWER
 COMPARTMENTS.
  
 IN STANDARD ROLL-IN TYPE SHOWER COMPARTMENTS, THE
 CONTROLS, FAUCETS, AND SHOWER SPRAY UNIT SHALL BE
 LOCATED ABOVE THE GRAB BAR, BUT NO HIGHER THAN 48
 INCHES (1220 MM) ABOVE THE SHOWER FLOOR. WHERE A SEAT
 IS PROVIDED, THE CONTROLS, FAUCETS, AND SHOWER SPRAY
 UNIT SHALL BE INSTALLED ON THE BACK WALL ADJACENT TO
 THE SEAT WALL AND SHALL BE LOCATED 27 INCHES (685 MM)
 MAXIMUM FROM THE SEAT WALL.
  
 3A) SHEET A2 DETAIL 8 HAS NOTES DEALING WITH THE SHOWER
 WALLS IN THE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS. THE NOTE INDICATES
 THE USE OF DUROCK UP 4 FEET AND MR BOARD ABOVE. ALL
 WALLS TO BE CERAMIC TILE FULL HEIGHT.
 PLEASE REVIEW THE 2017 FBC-B SECTION 2509.2 ACCEPTABLE
 MATERIALS TO BE USED FOR TILE BASE IN SHOWERS.
  
 3B) SHEET A2 DETAIL 8 SHOWS THE USE OF AN ACOUSTICAL
 DROPPED CEILING FOR IN THE SHOWER COMPARTMENT. PLEASE
 REVIEW SECTION FBC-B 2509.3 WHERE WATER RESISTANT
 GYPSUM BACKING BOARD SHALL NOT BE USED.
 (1) OVER A VAPOR RETARDER IN A SHOWER COMPARTMENT.
  
 3E) THE PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO HOW THE JOINT FROM THE
 BACKER BOARD FOR TILE WILL BE SEALED TO THE FLOOR NOR
 HOW THE FLOOR WILL BE SEALED, PITCHED TO THE DRAIN NOR
 THE REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE PLUMBING CODE FOR A SHOWER
 LINING. FBC-P 417.2. / 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 IS REQUIRED.
  
 3C) IN THE OLD LAYOUT OF THE RESTROOMS THERE WERE NO
 WINDOWS ON THE EXTERIOR WALL. ON THE NEW LAYOUT THE ADA
 RESTROOM # 2 HAS THE LAVATORY IN THE WINDOW. THE PLANS
 DO NOT HAVE A DETAIL FOR THIS CONFIGURATION, THE
 SUBMITTED ADA DETAIL 4 ON SHEET A-2 HAS A MIRROR
 LOCATED BEHIND THE LAV. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED, CODE COMPLIANCE CANNOT BE
 DETERMINED AT THIS TIME.
  
 4) THIS IS A CONDO BUILDING. WITH THE UNIFYING 2 UNITS
 YOU NEED TO COMPLETE A UNITY OF TITLE.
  
 UNITY OF TITLE. THE PROPOSED BUILDING STRUCTURE
 TRANSGRESSES LEGAL BOUNDARY LINES BETWEEN THE LOTS
 WHICH COMBINE TO FORM 'THE SITE'. A 'UNITY OF TITLE'
 SHALL BE
 RECORDED AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE. SUBMIT A COPY OF THE
 RECORDED 'UNITY OF TITLE' DOCUMENT SO THAT FBC TABLE
 601 BOUNDARY LINE REQUIREMENTS MAY BE DEEMED NOT
 APPLICABLE.

 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
