 1-BASED ON PLANS SUBMITTED THE SCOPE OF WORK IS NOT A
 LEVEL 1 ALTERATION. THIS IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY (SEC.
 506 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING) AND ALTERATION LEVEL 2 (SEC.
 506 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING). PLANS SHOW EXISTING
 CLASSROOMS AND OFFICE SPACES TO BE CONVERTED TO A
 DIFFERENT USE. REVISE CODE INFORMATION ON SHEET A0.0.
  
 2- ARCHITECT NEEDS TO SPECIFY THE OCCUPANCY GROUP OF
 THE BUILDING AND CLASSIFY THE OCCUPANCY OF ALL THE
 PROPOSED SPACES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 302.1 FBC-BUILDING.
 SPECIFY THE USE, NUMBER AND AGES OF CHILDREN IN THE
 TODDLER AREA AND CHECK IN AREA. WHO USES THE CHECK IN
 KIOSKS.
  
 3- ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE ALL THE MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW
 CRITERIA AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.5 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 SPECIFY TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION, RISK CATEGORY,
 SPRINKLERED OR NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDING, OCCUPANCY
 GROUP,
  
 4- THERE ARE SEVERAL BUILDINGS ON THIS PROPERTY.
 PROVIDE SITE PLAN/PLOT PLAN SHOWING THE BUILDING AND
 AREA OF WORK. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- PROVIDE LIFE-SAFETY PLANS SHOWING OCCUPANT LOAD
 (SEC. 1004.1.1 FBC-BUILDING), ALL EXIT SIGNS SEC.
 1013.1 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 6- EGRESS FROM A ROOM OR SPACE SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH
 ADJOINING OR INTERVENING ROOMS OR AREAS. SEC. 1016.2
 FBC-BUILDING. SEE NEW DOOR #100. REVISE OR SHOW HOW IT
 WILL BE ALLOWED TO PASS THRU THE DAY CARE AREA.
 NOTE: COORDINATE WITH TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD REQUESTED ON
 ITEM #5 ABOVE IF DETERMINED THAT PASSING THRU THE NEW
 DAY CARE AREA FOR TODDLERS MAY BE ALLOWED.
  
 7- PLANS SHOW A 2 HOUR FIRE RATED CEILING SEPARATION
 ASSEMBLY UL DES U438 FOR NEW STORAGE ROOM. THIS NEW
 STORAGE ROOM IS LOCATED IN THE EXISTING SHAFT. THE
 SPECIFIED CEILING ASSEMBLY IS A WALL ASSEMBLY NOT A
 CEILING ASSEMBLY. NEED TO SPECIFY AN APPROVED
 HORIZONTAL ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY COMPLYING WITH SEC.
 711.2.2 FBC AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 713.5 FBC.
  
 8- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW
 STORAGE FLOOR FRAMING. SPECIFY ALL STRUCTURAL
 FASTENERS. SEC. 1604.1 FBC.
  
 9- PROVIDE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL BUILT
 IN-ELEMENTS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 904 FBC
 ACCESSIBILITY AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 227
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
