 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PERMIT, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 STAFF UNDERSTANDS THAT THIS IS AN ENHANCEMENT OF THE
 EXISTING LANDSCAPING, BUT NONCONFORMING AREAS MUST BE
 BROUGHT INTO COMPLIANCE WHERE POSSIBLE AS PART OF THE
 ENHANCEMENT.
  
 1. ALL BUFFER SECTIONS MUST INCLUDE THE REQUIRED
 SCREENING HEDGE AND TREES EVERY 30 FEET OR PORTION
 THEREOF. ALL NEW TREES AND PALMS MUST MEET CURRENT
 HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS, 12 FEET HEIGHT FOR TREES. THE SITE
 IS NON-CONFORMING WITH THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF REQUIRED
 TREES, SO ADDING BUFFER TREES WILL REDUCE THE
 NONCONFORMITY. SOME AREAS OF EXISTING HEDGE ARE
 CONFORMING AND MUST BE REPLACED IF REMOVED.
  
 2. PROVIDE THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY DESIGN OPTIONS CHART
 AND PROVIDE 50 REQUIRED POINTS BASED ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN PER SECTION 94-442(G).
  
 3. NEW DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE MUST MEET CODE REQUIREMENT
 FOR A HEDGE ON THE 3 NON ACCESS SIDES. ALL MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT MUST BE SCREENED AND SEPARATE PERMITS ARE
 REQUIRED FOR ALL SITE WORK.
 4. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT
 SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL
 ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT
 SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF
 SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA
 WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA
 LANDSCAPES.
 5. ROCKS MAY NOT BE USED INSTEAD OF MULCH AS REQUIRED
 IN SECTION 94-446(1)D.
