 PLEASE ALSO CONSIDER THE REQUIREMENTS FOR FIRE
 RESISTANCE RATING REQUIREMENTS FOR HORIZONTAL
 ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN FIRE AREAS, TABLE 707.3.10 OF THE
 2017 FBC-B. PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT OCCUPANCY IS ON THE 2ND
 FLOOR TO KNOW WHAT THE FIRE RESISTANCE RATING SHOULD
 BE? ON THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET THE CODE DATA STATES THE
 BUILDING IS A ONE STORY, IF SO THEN PLEASE UPDATE THE
 SURVEY. DISCREPANCY IN DOCUMENTS. 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 1B) OCCUPANT LOADS BUSINESS & MERCANTILE IN BOTH CASES
 THE OCCUPANT LOAD WAS ROUNDED UP TO THE NEXT WHOLE
 NUMBER, THE OCCUPANT LOAD IS ROUNDED DOWN, AND THERE
 ARE NO PARTS OF OCCUPANTS. THE OCCUPANT LOAD IS ALWAYS
 ROUNDED DOWN TO THE NEXT WHOLE NUMBER TABLE 1004.1.2 OF
 THE 2017 FBC AND BUILDING OFFICIALS INFORMAL
 INTERPRETATION.
  
 1C) THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET UNDER THE HEADING OF OCCUPANT
 LOAD THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD STATED IS 84 REQUIRING 2
 EXIT DOORS. THE BUILDING IS STATED AS BEING FIRE
 SPRINKLERED ALLOWING THE 2 EXITS TO BE AT LEAST 1/3 THE
 OVERALL DISTANCE APART. THE OVERALL DIAGONAL DISTANCE
 IS STATED ON THE PLANS AS 121 FEET. IN THE 2017 FBC-B
 SECTION 1007.1.1 EXCEPTION 2 ALLOWS WHEN 2 EXITS ARE
 REQUIRED FOR FULLY SPRINKLERED BUILDINGS THE SEPARATION
 DISTANCE CAN BE REDUCED TO 1/3RD OF THE LENGTH OF THE
 OVERALL DIAGONAL DISTANCE. THE MINIMUM OVERALL 1/3RD
 THE DIAGONAL DISTANCE APART FOR EXITS IS 40.333 FEET
 APART. PLEASE NOTE NEITHER OF THESE EXITS MEET THAT
 REQUIREMENT AS SHOWN THEY ARE 32.5 FEET AND 33.5 FEET
 APART AS SHOWN ON THE PLAN. THIS IS NOT TRUE. IN
 MEASURING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE EXITS, YOU DO NOT
 CUT THAT DISTANCE IN 1/3RD. PLEASE PROVIDE THE ACTUAL
 DISTANCE THE EXITS ARE SEPARATED, THIS IS THE DISTANCE
 THAT NEEDS TO BE SHOWN AND THAT DISTANCE WILL BE OVER
 40.333 FEET APART. CORRECT PLANS PLEASE SHOWING CODE
 COMPLIANCE.
  
 1D) THE LOWER LEFT SIDE OF THE SHEET THE COMMON PATH OF
 TRAVEL IS SHOWN AS 27.66 FEET. COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL
 FOR THIS AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 69 FEET. IT IS TAKEN IN
 THE MOST REMOTE POINT IN THE OFFICE AND MEASURED AT ONE
 FOOT OFF THE WALL OR TWO FEET OFF THE WALL TO THE POINT
 WHERE YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF 2 EGRESS PATHS. SEE IN THE
 2017 FBC-B SECTION 1006.2.1 AND TABLE 1006.2.1. PLEASE
 UPDATE THE TRAVEL DISTANCE FOR THE COMMON PATH OF
 TRAVEL.
  
 2) SHEET A1-1.5 1ST FLOOR CEILING PLAN SHOWS AN EXPOSED
 CEILING IN MANY PORTIONS OF THE BUILDING. WHEREAS THE
 SURVEY INDICATES THIS TO BE A 2 STORY BUILDING.
 RESTATED FROM COMMENT 1A)(2). HOW WILL THE REQUIREMENTS
 FOR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING REQUIREMENTS FOR HORIZONTAL

 MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR
 MEASURED TO THE TOP OF THE GRIPPING SURFACE, NOT

 3B) THE DETAIL # 7 SHOWS THE TOILET PAPER HOLDER
 VERTICAL DIMENSION BUT NOT THE HORIZONTAL DIMENSION
 FROM THE FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET. TOILET PAPER
 DISPENSERS. 604.7 DISPENSERS. TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH 309.4 AND SHALL BE 7 INCHES MINIMUM
 AND 9 INCHES MAXIMUM IN FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET
 MEASURED TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE DISPENSER. THE OUTLET
 OF THE DISPENSER SHALL BE 15 INCHES MINIMUM AND 48
 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR AND SHALL NOT BE
 LOCATED BEHIND GRAB BARS. DISPENSERS SHALL NOT BE OF A
 TYPE THAT CONTROLS DELIVERY OR THAT DOES NOT ALLOW
 CONTINUOUS PAPER FLOW.
  
  
 3C) MEN?S RESTROOM DETAIL # 6 SHOWS A HEIGHT OF 39
 INCHES TO WHAT APPEARS TO BE A SHELF BELOW THE EDGE LIT
 MIRROR, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT MIRRORS ARE TO BE LOCATED
 ABOVE LAVATORIES OR COUNTERTOPS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH
 THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE REFLECTING SURFACE 40 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 4) THE STRUCTURAL SHEETS SHOW THE USE OF STEEL COLUMNS,
 BEAMS AND ROOF DECKING. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 WELDED AND BOLTED CONNECTIONS. THE CONTRACTOR IS
 REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS &
 WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF

 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO

 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE

 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL

 INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND ASSOCIATE
 PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2017 FBC-B 1405.13.1
 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS.
 FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN SUCH
 INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED BASED ON MAXIMUM
 LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 8) ROOFING: FOR ALL ROOFING PRODUCTS PLEASE IDENTIFY
