 PLEASE UPDATE SHEET CS-000 WHERE IS STATES FBC 2014 5TH
 EDITION TO READ FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 6TH EDITION
 (2017) AND AMENDMENTS ARE 2017 AS WELL.
  
 2) 301.1 FBC[EXISTING] GENERAL. THE REPAIR, ALTERATION,
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, ADDITION OR RELOCATION OF ALL
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE METHODS
 LISTED IN SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3 AS SELECTED
 BY THE APPLICANT. SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3
 SHALL NOT BE APPLIED IN COMBINATION WITH EACH OTHER.
 A) 301.1.1 FBC[EXISTING] PRESCRIPTIVE COMPLIANCE
 METHOD. REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS, ADDITIONS AND CHANGES OF
 OCCUPANCY COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER 4 OF THIS CODE IN
 BUILDINGS COMPLYING WITH THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION
 CODE SHALL BE CONSIDERED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE.
 B) 301.1.2 FBC[EXISTING] WORK AREA COMPLIANCE METHOD.
 REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS, ADDITIONS, CHANGES IN OCCUPANCY
 AND RELOCATED BUILDINGS COMPLYING WITH THE APPLICABLE
 REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTERS 5 THROUGH 13 OF THIS CODE
 SHALL BE CONSIDERED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS CODE.
 C) 301.1.3 FBC[EXISTING] PERFORMANCE COMPLIANCE METHOD.

 SLEEPING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM PUBLIC OR
 SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION CLASS OF
 NOT LESS THAN 50, OR NOT LESS THAN 45 IF FIELD TESTED,
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E90.
 1207.3 FBC[B] STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND. FLOOR/CEILING
 ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS AND SLEEPING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT OR SLEEPING UNIT AND A PUBLIC
 OR SERVICE AREA WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN
 IMPACT INSULATION CLASS RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50, OR
 NOT LESS THAN 45 IF FIELD TESTED, WHEN TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E492.
 603.1 FBC[B] ALLOWABLE MATERIALS IN NON COMBUSTIBLE
 BUILDINGS, SEE ITEM 2, EXCEPTION 2, ACOUSTICAL
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200. SEE
 803.1.1, PROVIDE TEST DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84
 OR UL 723.
 804.1 FBC[B] GENERAL. INTERIOR FLOOR FINISH AND FLOOR
 COVERING MATERIALS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTIONS 804.2
 THROUGH 804.4.2. EXCEPTION: FLOOR FINISHES AND
 COVERINGS OF A TRADITIONAL TYPE, SUCH AS WOOD, VINYL,
 LINOLEUM OR TERRAZZO, AND RESILIENT FLOOR COVERING
 MATERIALS THAT ARE NOT COMPRISED OF FIBERS.
 -THIS WOULD APPLY TO SECOND AND THIRD FLOORS IN THE
 SLEEPING UNITS ONLY.
  
 6) 806.1 FBC[B] GENERAL. COMBUSTIBLE DECORATIVE
 MATERIALS, OTHER THAN DECORATIVE VEGETATION, SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTIONS 806.2 THROUGH 806.8. [F] 806.2
 NONCOMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS. THE PERMISSIBLE AMOUNT OF
 NONCOMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS SHALL NOT BE LIMITED.
 -PROVISO: IF WINDOW TREATMENTS FALL UNDER 806.3 THEN
 SUBMIT REPORTS TO INSPECTOR PRIOR TO INSTALL.
  
 7) PLEASE ADD NOTE TO SHEET SP-100 THAT PARKING LOT
 UPGRADES WILL BE DONE UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT.
  
 8) 902.1 FBC[A]GENERAL. DINING SURFACES AND WORK
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. 902.3
 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES
 SHALL BE 28 INCHES (710 MM) MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES (865
 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
