 RECORD AND BEFORE SUBMISSION TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH GLAZING, PLEASE
 IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT, TYPE OF GLAZING,
 MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED OR REINFORCED
 INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND ASSOCIATE
 PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2017 FBC-B 1405.13.1
 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS.
 FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN SUCH
 INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED BASED ON MAXIMUM
 LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 1D) 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 2) SHEET A102:
  
 2A) THE RESTROOM ELEVATIONS SHOW THE ACCESSIBLE GRAB
 BARS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WATER CLOSET DIMENSIONED FROM
 THE CENTERLINE OF THE GRAB BAR TO THE FINISH FLOOR.
 PLEASE REVIEW A CODE CHANGE IN THE 2010
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE AND THE CURRENT 2017
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 609.4 POSITION OF
 GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN A HORIZONTAL
 POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED TO THE TOP OF THE GRIPPING
 SURFACE, NOT CENTERLINE.
  
 2B) PLEASE NOTE SHEET A101 INDICATES A FUTURE COUNTER
 AND SINK. SHEET A102 DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY DETAILS FOR
 THE COUNTER NOR SINK.
 606 LAVATORIES AND SINKS. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 606.3 HEIGHT.
 LAVATORIES AND SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE FRONT
 OF THE HIGHER OF THE RIM OR COUNTER SURFACE 34 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 2C) DETAIL: WALL SECTION AND SOFFIT REPAIR. THE PLANS
 INDICATE THE INSTALLATION OF POLYICYNENE INSULATION
 SPRAYED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ROOF DECK. THE PLANS DO
 NOT STATE IF THIS ATTIC SPACE IS TO BE AN ENCLOSED
 ATTIC SPACE WITH NO VENTILATION? PLEASE PROVIDE
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. 107.2.1.2.
  
 2D) IF THE ATTIC SPACE IS TO BE AN ENCLOSED SPACE
 PLEASE SUBMIT THE POLYICYNENE ICC REPORT. WITHIN THE
 REPORT, THERE IS MANY SUB-SYSTEMS FOR INSTALLATION.
 PLEASE IDENTIFY WHICH SYSTEM (CLASSIC, CLASSIC PLUS,
 CLASSIC ULTRA-SELECT AND CLASSIC PLUS) IS TO BE
 APPLIED, IS THERE ELECTRICAL AND OR A/C DUCT AND OR
 UNITS WITH THIS SPACE. PROVIDE THE SURFACE BURNING
 CHARACTERISTICS FOR THE FOAM AND COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-B
 2603.3.
 PLEASE ALSO CONSIDER THE REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN THE
 FBC-B 2603.4.1.6 FOR PROTECTION AGAINST IGNITION. THE
 PROTECTIVE COVERING SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION.
  
 2E) DETAIL: WALL SECTION AND SOFFIT REPAIR. WITHIN THE
 SAME DETAIL THERE IS STATEMENTS FOR LATH AND A 3 COAT
 STUCCO PLASTER (ASTM C1063) ON A METAL PLASTER BASE PER
 TABLE 1405.2. THE PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO THE TYPE OF
 WIRE LATH TO BE INSTALLED ON THE HORIZONTAL SURFACE.
 ASTM C1063, IF THE 3/8 INCH RIB LATH IS TO BE INSTALLED
 FASTENERS ARE TO BE ATTACHED TO EACH RIB. (7.10.1.1).
 7.10.2.2. DIAMOND MESH EXPANDED METAL LATH, FLAT RIB
 EXPANDED METAL , AND WIRE LATH SHALL BE ATTACHED TO
 HORIZONTAL WOOD FRAMING MEMBERS WITH 1 ? INCH ROOFING
 NAILS.
 7.10.2.3. EXPANDED 3/8 INCH RIB LATH SHALL BE ATTACHED
 TO HORIZONTAL WOOD FRAMING MEMBERS WITH NAILS OR
 STAPLES TO PROVIDE NOT LESS THAN 1 ? INCH PENETRATION
 INTO THE HORIZONTAL FRAMING MEMBERS.
 7.10.2.5. SCREWS USED TO ATTACH METAL PLASTER BASE TO
 HORIZONTAL WOOD FRAMING MEMBERS SHALL PENETRATE NOT
 LESS THAN 5/8 INCH INTO THE FRAMING MEMBER. WHEN SCREWS
 ARE INSTALLED INTO RIB LATH, THE SCREWS SHALL PASS
 THROUGH, BUT NOT DEFORM THE RIB.
  
 3) NO FLOOR PLAN, NOR LIFE SAFETY PLAN WAS SUBMITTED.
 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATIVE CODE.
 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS. THE
 EXAMINATION OF THE DOCUMENTS BY
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
 MINIMUM CRITERIA AND DOCUMENTS: A FLOOR PLAN.
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:

 OCCUPANCY LOAD/EGRESS REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE:

 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
