 CODE AND ISSUE A PERMIT, TO REJECT DESIGN DOCUMENTS
 REQUIRED BY THE CODE THREE OR MORE TIMES FOR FAILURE TO
 CORRECT A CODE VIOLATION SPECIFICALLY AND CONTINUOUSLY
 NOTED IN EACH REJECTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
 EGRESS, FIRE PROTECTION, STRUCTURAL STABILITY, ENERGY,
 ACCESSIBILITY, LIGHTING, VENTILATION, ELECTRICAL,
 MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND GAS SYSTEMS, OR OTHER
 REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFIED BY RULE OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 COMMISSION ADOPTED PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 120, THE LOCAL
 GOVERNMENT SHALL IMPOSE, EACH TIME AFTER THE THIRD SUCH
 REVIEW THE PLANS ARE REJECTED FOR THAT CODE VIOLATION,

 A)ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS AND PALM BEACH COUNTY
 PROPERTY APPRAISER THESE BUILDINGS WERE BUILT IN 1925
 AND THEIR CONSTRUCTION WAS WOOD FRAME. DESIGN CRITERIA
 STATES CONSTRUCTION TYPE IIIB. THIS IS INCORRECT.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 602.1 FBC-BUILDING.

 REVISED CONSTRUCTION TYPE IS INCORRECT AGAIN. WOOD
 FRAMED BUILDINGS ARE NOT TYPE IIB CONSTRUCTION.

 TYPE II REQUIREMENTS. FBC-BUILDING. THIS BUILDING FALLS

 CLEAR. WHAT IS AN 8" WOOD WALL MASONRY UNIT SPECIFIED
 ON LEGEND NOTE #1?. IT LOOKS LIKE THE ENGINEER IS
 MISMATCHING WOOD FRAMED CONSTRUCTION AND MASONRY
 CONSTRUCTION. CLARIFY./REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 (2) THE MINIMUM STUCCO THICKNESS IS 7/8" NOT 3/4". SEE
 TABLE R702.1(1) FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 (3) PROVIDE DETAIL SHOWING HOW INSTALLING THE 1"X2"
 PRESSURE TREATED FURRING STRIPS SPECIFIED ON LEGEND
 NOTE #3. THIS TYPE CONSTRUCTION IS USUALLY SPECIFIED ON
 MASONRY CONSTRUCTION. IF ENGINEER WANTS TO USE THIS
 FURRING STRIPS, THEN PROVIDE THE REQUESTED DETAIL. SEC.
 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 (4)PROVIDE DETAIL SHOWING HOW INSTALLING THE FOIL
 INSULATION R-4 ON THE FRAMED WALL AS SPECIFIED ON
 LEGEND NOTE #4. THIS TYPE OF INSULATION IS USUALLY
 SPECIFIED ON MASONRY CONSTRUCTION. IF ENGINEER WANTS TO
 USE THIS INSULATION , THEN PROVIDE THE REQUESTED

 (5) WALL TYPE #1 SHOWS 1/2" GYPSUM BOARD ON BOTH SIDES
 OF WALL. THIS IS AN EXTERIOR WALL. THIS SEEMS TO BE

 (6) FIRE RATED WALL #3 IS INCORRECT. WALL TYPE #3 SHOWN
 DOESN'T CORRESPOND TO UL-425. UL 425 ASSEMBLY IS FOR
 WALL WITH METAL STUDS NOT WOOD FRAME. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. PROVIDE ASSEMBLY DETAILS THAT MATCHES

 NOTE: TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE
 ARE LIMITATIONS ON THE MINIMUM ROOF SLOPE AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R905.3.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND PRODUCT APPROVALS.

 SLOPE OF DECK NEEDS TO COMPLY WITH SEC. 905.3.2
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SECTION A SPECIFIES 1" SLOPE. CLEARLY
 SPECIFY THE SLOPE OF THE DECK IN DEGREES, GRADIENT OR
 PERCENT. IT LOOKS LIKE THE CONCRETE TILE MAY NOT BE
 INSTALLED AS PROPOSED. SEE FRSA/TRI CONCRETE AND CLAY
 TILE INSTALLATION MANUAL AND CONCRETE TILE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR MINIMUM SLOPE REQUIRED.
  
  
  
 5- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 NOTE: THIS STRUCTURE IS A CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC HOUSE.
 UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS NO PROPERLY FLAGGED IN THE CITY
 SYSTEM. THAT'S WHY THIS ISSUE WAS NOT ADDRESSED ON THE
 FIRST REVIEW. ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR
 CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC BUILDINGS. BUT IF OWNER WANTS TO
 SUBMIT THEM, THEN THEY NEED TO BE COMPLETE AND CORRECT.
