 NOTE:
 BUILDING REVIEW MAY BE APPROVED WITH PROVISO. PROVISO
 MEANS CONTRACTOR WILL SUBMIT REQUIRED INFORMATION AFTER
 THE PERMIT IS ISSUED BUT BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS. REVISION FEES MAY APPLY. CONTRACTOR
 TO ADVICE IF PROVISO OPTION IS PREFERRED AT THIS TIME
 OR IF RE-SUBMITTING REQUIRED INFORMATION BEFORE PERMIT
 ISSUANCE.
  
 ***IF PROVISO OPTION IS PREFERRED, THEN THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE SIGNED BY THE OWNER OR OWNER'S
 AGENT BEFORE ISSUING THE PERMIT.

 REQUIRED BY SEC. 1106 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R101.5 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
 NOTE: COORDINATE WITH PLANS (SEE ENERGY CODE NOTES ON
 SHEET A-01) AND PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS.

 ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) ENERGY CALCULATION FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE CERTIFIED
 AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FORM BY THE OWNER, THE OWNER'S
 ARCHITECT OR OTHER AUTHORIZED AGENT LEGALLY DESIGNED BY
 THE OWNER PRIOR TO RECEIVE THE PERMIT AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R103.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 6TH EDITION
 (2017).
  
 B) R-VALUE OF WALL INSULATION SPECIFIED ON ITEM #9 OF
 PAGE 1 OF 4 DOESN'T MATCH R-VALE SPECIFIED BY THE
 ARCHITECT OF RECORD ON PLANS/DETAIL AND ON ENERGY CODE
 COMPLIANCE INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE MIDDLE SECTION OF
 DRAWING A-01. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH. SEC.
 R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 C) R-VALUE OF CEILING INSULATION SPECIFIED ON ITEM #10

 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 2- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 (NOTE: THIS MAY BE SUBMITTED LATER AS A DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL).
  
 RESPONSE:
 ARCHITECT'S RESPONSE LETTER STATES THAT FLAT ROOF
 PRODUCT APPROVAL WILL BE SUBMITTED WITH SEPARATE
 ROOFING PERMIT.. THIS IS OK TO BE DONE WHEN GETTING THE
 ROOFING SUB-PERMIT.
  
 A)FLAT ROOF AND CLEARLY MARK WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY IS
 GOING TO BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: IF THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES FOR ALL ROOF ZONES, THEN SIGNED AND SEALED
 RAS 117 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
 NOTE: FLAT ROOF PRODUCT APPROVAL NEEDS TO BE
 REVIEWED/APPROVED BY ARCHITECT OF RECORD PRIOR TO
 SUBMITTAL TO THIS OFFICE.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 PLEASE, INSERT CORRECTED PAGES INTO THE SUBMITTAL AND
 REMOVE/VOID THE PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS.
 PLEASE DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS/DOCUMENTS . SUBMIT OLD
 DRAWINGS/DOCUMENTS FOR REFERENCE.
