 WITH RESPECT TO EVALUATION OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS?
 DOCUMENTS, IF A LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINDS IT NECESSARY, IN
 ORDER TO ENFORCE COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE AND ISSUE A PERMIT, TO REJECT DESIGN DOCUMENTS
 REQUIRED BY THE CODE THREE OR MORE TIMES FOR FAILURE TO
 CORRECT A CODE VIOLATION SPECIFICALLY AND CONTINUOUSLY
 NOTED IN EACH REJECTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
 EGRESS, FIRE PROTECTION, STRUCTURAL STABILITY, ENERGY,
 ACCESSIBILITY, LIGHTING, VENTILATION, ELECTRICAL,
 MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND GAS SYSTEMS, OR OTHER
 REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFIED BY RULE OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 COMMISSION ADOPTED PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 120, THE LOCAL
 GOVERNMENT SHALL IMPOSE, EACH TIME AFTER THE THIRD SUCH
 REVIEW THE PLANS ARE REJECTED FOR THAT CODE VIOLATION,
 A FEE OF FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPORTION OF THE
 PERMIT FEE ATTRIBUTED TO PLANS REVIEW.
  
 1) 2ND REQUEST. THE SUBMITTED PLANS MODULAR STRUCTURES
 FOR WILLIAM SCOTSMAN FOR A 36 FT. X 56 FT. MODULAR UNIT
 DOES NOT SHOW A 3RD PARTY REVIEW. GENERAL NOTE 20
 STATES THE RAISED SEAL SET OF PLANS ARE ON FILE IN THE
 THIRD PARTY AGENCY?S OFFICE AS DIRECTED BY DCA.
 IN THE DBPR WEBSITE FOR MANUFACTURED BUILDINGS THERE IS
 PLANS FOR WILLIAM SCOTSMAN AS THE MANUFACTURER (THERE
 ARE DIFFERENT QUALIFIERS, SPECIFY WHICH QUALIFIER) AND
 MODULAR PLANS DESIGN, CO. AS THE APPROVING AGENCY.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE AGENCY PLAN APPROVAL NUMBER.
  
 IF THERE IS NO 3RD PARTY APPROVAL FOR THESE PLANS, THEY
 THEN ARE NOT APPROVED BY THE STATE AND WILL NEED TO BE
 UPDATED TO THE 2017 FBC-B AND EACH PAGE WILL NEED TO BE
 SIGNED AND SEALED ELECTRONICALLY.
 THE STATE PLAN ARE STILL AVAILABLE ON LINE AND CAN BE
 REVIEWED WHEN CONTACTING THE AGENCY.
 THE COVERSHEET LIST THOMAS L. MELTON AS THE CONSULTING
 ARCHITECT. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE. ARCHITECT DIGITAL SIGNING &
 SEALING PLANS. 61G1-16.005 PROCEDURES FOR DIGITALLY
 SIGNING AND SEALING AND FOR ELECTRONICALLY TRANSMITTING
 PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, REPORTS OR OTHER DOCUMENTS.
  
 2) 2ND REQUEST. THE COVERSHEET STATES THIS BUILDING IS
 NOT TO BE PLACED IN A FLOOD ZONE. THE SITE PLAN SHOWS
 WHERE THE PROPOSED BUILDING IS TO BE PLACED IS IN AN AE
 FLOOD ZONE WITH A BFE OF 12.00 FT. NAVD88. PLEASE SHOW
 HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE BOTTOM OF THE MANUFACTURED
 BUILDING WILL BE ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD PLUS THE
 ADDITIONAL 2 FEET REQUIRED BY THE CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH MUNI CODE SECTION ARTICLE XVII ORDINANCES ARTICLE
 XVII FLOOD PREVENTION & CONTROL.
  
 DURING THE PERMITTING OF THIS STRUCTURE THERE WILL BE
 REQUIRED (3) DIFFERENT FLOOD ZONE CERTIFICATES
 REQUIRED:
 (1) A FLOOD ZONE CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED AS PART OF THE
 PLAN REVIEW DOCUMENTS WITH THE PROPOSED FINISH FLOOR
 HEIGHT. W. P. B. ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 107.3.5.1.1
 BUILDING MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR COMMERCIAL
 BUILDINGS. (8) FLOOD REQUIREMENTS ELEVATIONS,
 ENCLOSURES, FLOOD DAMAGE-RESISTANT MATERIALS.
 (2) ONCE THE FIRST FLOOR SLAB IS POURED THE 2ND
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED. W. P. B.
 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 110.3 REQUIRED INSPECTIONS 1.2
 FLOOR/ SLAB INSPECTION. IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, UPON
 PLACEMENT OF THE LOWEST FLOOR, INCLUDING BASEMENT, AND
 PRIOR TO FURTHER VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION, THE ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATION, REQUIRED IN SECTION 1612.5, SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 (3) BEFORE THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
 OR A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION THE 3RD FLOOD ZONE
 CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED WITH THE HEIGHT OF ALL EXTERIOR
 ATTENDANTS A/C PADS OR OTHER SLABS FOR GENERATORS.
 W. P. B. ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 110.3 REQUIRED INSPECTIONS
 (6) FINAL INSPECTION. TO BE MADE AFTER THE BUILDING IS
 COMPLETED AND READY FOR OCCUPANCY. 6.1. LOWEST FLOOR
 ELEVATION. IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, AS PART OF THE FINAL
 INSPECTION, A FINAL CERTIFICATION OF THE LOWEST FLOOR
 ELEVATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE AUTHORITY HAVING
 JURISDICTION.
