 THIS IS A RECAP OF MEETING ON 7/30/19 WHEREIN DESIGN
 OPTIONS WERE DISCUSSED. FOR CODE REFERENCES, PLEASE SEE
 PREVIOUS BUILDING REVIEW. NOTE THAT ANY DESIGN WHICH
 COMPLIES WITH THE FBC/FFPC IS ACCEPTABLE; THE BELOW IS
 ONE DESIGN OPTION DISCUSSED IN THE MEETING WITH
 ENGINEER, OWNER AND CONTRACTOR.
  
 1. PLAN TO BE REVISED TO NOTE COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 2017;
 REMOVE REFERENCES TO PREVIOUS CODES AND STAFF.
  
 2. WORK AREA (SEE DEFINITION IN FBC 2017 EB) TO BE
 MODIFIED TO CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THAT A LEVEL II
 ALTERATION IS PROPOSED; WORK AREA REDUCED ACCORDINGLY.
  
 3. 2ND FLOOR, CURRENTLY R2, UNDER THIS OPTION WOULD
 REMAIN R2 (NO CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY), PLAN TO BE MODIFIED
 TO CLARIFY; ACCESSIBILITY FOR 2ND FLOOR NOT REQUIRED
 (SEE DEFINITION OF PLACE OF PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION).
  
 4. ONE BATHROOM ON THE 1ST FLOOR IS NOT ACCESSIBLE AND
 THE ENTRY DOORS TO THE MEDITATION ROOM ARE NOT
 ACCESSIBLE; APPLICANT TO DOCUMENT THAT THIS IS NOT
 REQUIRED DUE TO DISPROPORTIONATE COST. THIS MAY BE SENT
 VIA EMAIL FOR PRELIMINARY REVIEW.
  
 5. PER FIRE, A FIRE ALARM SYSTEM WILL BE INSTALLED.
  
 6. A REMOTELY LOCATED EXIT IS TO BE INSTALLED FOR THE
 FIRST FLOOR MEDITATION AREA; IT IS ACCEPTABLE FOR THE
 MEANS OF EGRESS TO GO THROUGH THE ADJACENT ACCESSORY
 AREA.
  
 7. FOR ACCESSIBILITY TO THE PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA, ALL
 FIRST FLOOR DOORS TO BE MODIFIED TO MAINTAIN 18"
 CLEARANCE ON PULL SIDE TO COMPLY WITH ACCESSIBILITY.
  
 8. OCCUPANT LOAD IN THE MEDITATION AREATO BE REDUCED
 (INCLUDES TABLES AND CHAIRS).
  
 9. PER FIRE, ONLY ONE LIGHTWEIGHT ROOF CONSTRUCTION ID
 SIGN IS REQUIRED AT THE MAIN ENTRY; OTHERS ARE
 OPTIONAL.
  
 10. LIFE SAFETY AND ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS TO BE PREPARED
 BY AN ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER WILL OBTAIN A DETERMINATION
 FROM FBPE OR FLORIDA BOARD OF ARCHITECTS.
