 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE COVERSHEET G001 UNDER THE HEADING, GOVERNING
 MUNICIPALITY: CITY OF LAUDERDALE LAKES, PLEASE CORRECT
 TO CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION REQUIRED.
  
 2) THE FLOOR PLAN, A-102 INDICATES A NEW BREAK ROOM
 WITH ONLY 2 FOOT 8 INCHES IN FRONT OF THE BREAK ROOM
 SINK. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 606.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE
 COMPLYING WITH 305, POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD APPROACH,
 AND KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE
 PROVIDED.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1. A PARALLEL APPROACH COMPLYING WITH 305 SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO A KITCHEN SINK, IN A SPACE WHERE A COOK
 TOP OR CONVENTIONAL RANGE IS NOT PROVIDED, AND TO WET
 BARS.
 PLEASE NOTE IF THE PARALLEL APPROACH METHOD IS USED THE
 SINK CANNOT BE IN THE CORNER. THE 48 INCH CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE WOULD NEED TO BE CENTERED ON THE SINK.
  
 3) SHEET A-501 TYPICAL CABINET BRACING DETAIL DOES NOT
 PROVIDE THE HEIGHT OF THE BREAK ROOM CABINET NOR THE
 HEIGHT OF THE LIP OF THE SINK. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 606.3 HEIGHT. LAVATORIES AND SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED
 WITH THE FRONT OF THE HIGHER OF THE RIM OR COUNTER
 SURFACE 34 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 4) SHEET A201 SHOWS A NEW ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM WITH ONE
 DIMENSION 7 FEET 8 INCHES, BUT THE PLAN DOES NOT GIVE
 THE DIMENSION OF THE BACK WALL, NOR DOES THE PLAN SHOW
 THE DIMENSION OF THE WATER CLOSET TO THE NEAREST SIDE
 WALL NOR THE LAV TO THE NEAREST SIDE WALL. SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS:
 604.3 CLEARANCE. CLEARANCES AROUND WATER CLOSETS AND IN
 TOILET COMPARTMENTS SHALL COMPLY WITH 604.3.
  
 604.3.1 SIZE. CLEARANCE AROUND A WATER CLOSET SHALL BE
 60 INCHES (1525 MM) MINIMUM MEASURED PERPENDICULAR FROM
 THE SIDE WALL AND 56 INCHES (1420 MM) MINIMUM MEASURED
 PERPENDICULAR FROM THE REAR WALL.
  
 604.3.2 OVERLAP. THE REQUIRED CLEARANCE AROUND THE
 WATER CLOSET SHALL BE PERMITTED TO OVERLAP THE WATER
 CLOSET, ASSOCIATED GRAB BARS, DISPENSERS, SANITARY
 NAPKIN DISPOSAL UNITS, COAT HOOKS, SHELVES, ACCESSIBLE
 ROUTES, CLEAR FLOOR SPACE AND CLEARANCES REQUIRED AT
 OTHER FIXTURES, AND THE TURNING SPACE. NO OTHER
 FIXTURES OR OBSTRUCTIONS SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN THE
 REQUIRED WATER CLOSET CLEARANCE.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
