 ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION
 78-123(A) AND SECTION 78-126(A), THE ART ASSESSMENT IS
 1% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COST. PER CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V, ART IN
 PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION 78-122, RENOVATION AND NEW
 CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY, SO THE
 ART ASSESSMENT WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL FUTURE
 PROJECTS. SEC. 78-129. - PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT FOR
 PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT. (A) APPLICABILITY. THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS ARTICLE AND THE PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT SECTION
 SHALL APPLY TO ALL PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS,
 INCLUDING NEW CONSTRUCTION, OR THE RENOVATION OR
 IMPROVEMENT OF AN EXISTING BUILDING, WHERE TOTAL
 CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN
 $750,000.00. ALL BUILDINGS WITHIN NEW PLANNED
 DEVELOPMENTS SHALL BE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY TOWARDS
 THIS ART IN PUBLIC PLACES REQUIREMENT, EVEN IF THE
 BUILDINGS ARE PERMITTED SEPARATELY OR DEVELOPED IN
 PHASES. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION APPLY TO NEW
 DEVELOPMENT OR NEW CONSTRUCTION WITHIN EXISTING PLANNED
 DEVELOPMENTS.

 2. F.S. 553.79(5) THRESHOLD BUILDING.
 THIS PROJECT MEETS THE DEFINITION OF A THRESHOLD
 BUILDING. THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO
 COMMENCEMENT.
 A) COMPLETE THE THRESHOLD / SPECIAL INSPECTOR AGREEMENT
 OF UNDERSTANDING; THIS HAS BEEN SENT VIA EMAIL TO
 CONTRACTOR. IF PDF OF AGREEMENT IS NEEDED PLEASE
 CONTACT THE BUILDING PLAN REVIEWER AND THEY WILL
 PROVIDE VIA E-MAIL.
 B) PROVIDE RESUMES AND COPIES OF LICENSES FOR ALL
 PROPOSED INSPECTORS. PLEASE INCLUDE AS MANY ADDITIONAL
 INSPECTORS AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THESE ARE THE ONLY
 PEOPLE THAT THE CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR WILL ALLOW TO
 BE ON-SITE.
 C) ALL PLANS ARE TO INCLUDE THE THRESHOLD STATEMENT
 REQUIRED BY FS553.79(7)(D). ?ALL PLANS FOR THE BUILDING
 WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE
 ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER OF RECORD CONTAIN A STATEMENT
 THAT, TO THE BEST OF THE ARCHITECT?S OR ENGINEER?S
 KNOWLEDGE, THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLY WITH THE
 APPLICABLE MINIMUM BUILDING CODES AND THE APPLICABLE
 FIRE SAFETY STANDARDS AS DETERMINED BY THE LOCAL
 AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS CHAPTER 553 AND
 CHAPTER 633.?
 D) THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN REQUIRED, FS553.79(5)A).
 - THERE IS A SIMILAR STATEMENT LIKE ITEM C IN THE
 COMMENT ABOVE ON STRUCTURAL SHEETS, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE
 THE STATEMENT IN QUOTES FROM ITEM C ABOVE. ADD
 THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN.
  
 3. 319 FBC[R] ADDRESS IS NEEDED FOR THIS LOT. THE
 PERMIT CANNOT BE ISSUED UNTIL AND ADDRESS HAS BEEN
 ASSIGNED TO THE PROPERTY.

 4. 103.1.1.2 FBC[CE] CODE COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION. THE
 BUILDING?S OWNER, THE OWNER?S ARCHITECT, OR OTHER
 AUTHORIZED AGENT LEGALLY DESIGNATED BY THE OWNER SHALL
 CERTIFY THAT THE BUILDING IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 CODE, AS PER SECTION 553.907, FLORIDA STATUTES, PRIOR
 TO RECEIVING THE PERMIT TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OR
 RENOVATION.
 - HAVE THE RESPONSIBLE PARTIES SIGN THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 5. 401.2 FBC[CE] APPLICATION. COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
 A. THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1,
 EXCLUDING SECTION 9.4.1.1(G) OF THE STANDARD.
 B. THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402 THROUGH C405. IN
 ADDITION, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 SECTION C406 AND TENANT SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH
 SECTION C406.1.1.
 C. THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402.5, C403.2, C404,
 C405.2, C405.3, C405.5, C405.6 AND C407. THE BUILDING
 ENERGY COST SHALL BE EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN 85 PERCENT
 OF THE STANDARD REFERENCE DESIGN BUILDING.
 - WHICH METHOD OF COMPLIANCE IS BEING UTILIZED? PROVIDE
 DOCUMENTATION TO SHOW HOW IT IS BEING IMPLEMENTED.
  
 6. 705.8.1 ALLOWABLE AREA OF OPENINGS. THE MAXIMUM AREA
 OF UNPROTECTED AND PROTECTED OPENINGS PERMITTED IN AN
 EXTERIOR WALL IN ANY STORY OF A BUILDING SHALL NOT
 EXCEED THE PERCENTAGES SPECIFIED IN TABLE 705.8.
 - VERIFY THAT OPENINGS ON THE LEFT ELEVATION ARE LESS
 THAN 25 PERCENT OF WALL AREA.
  
 7. 228.2 FBC[A] MAIL BOXES. WHERE MAIL BOXES ARE
 PROVIDED IN AN INTERIOR LOCATION, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT,
 BUT NO FEWER THAN ONE, OF EACH TYPE SHALL COMPLY WITH
 309. IN RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES, WHERE MAIL BOXES ARE
 PROVIDED FOR EACH RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNIT, MAIL BOXES
 COMPLYING WITH 309 SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH
 RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNIT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE MOBILITY
 FEATURES COMPLYING WITH 809.2 THROUGH 809.4.

 IS UNOBSTRUCTED, THE HIGH FORWARD REACH SHALL BE 48
 INCHES (1220 MM) MAXIMUM AND THE LOW FORWARD REACH

 13. 107.3.4.1 FBC[AMENDED] DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE
 PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE
 DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT
 SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE
 TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A
 SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL
 HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
 - PLEASE PROVIDE A LIST OF DEFERRED SUBMITTALS THAT
 WILL BE SUPPLIED AT A LATER DATE, OR INDICATE WHICH

 DEFERRED. IF DEFERED THE TRUSS PACKAGE NEEDS TO BE
 REVIEWED BY BUILDING INSPECTOR PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
  
 16. 1014 FBC [B] GUARDS AND HANDRAILS. 1607.8 FBC [B]
 LOADS ON HANDRAILS AND GUARDRAILS. PROVIDE HANDRAIL AND
 GUARDRAIL ENGINEERING, OR INDICATE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE
 IT DEFERRED.

 INSULATION OR OTHER PURPOSES SHALL BE CONSIDERED
