 78-126(A), THE ART ASSESSMENT IS 1% OF THE TOTAL
 PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COST.
 PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE
 V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION 78-122, RENOVATION AND
 NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY, SO
 THE ART ASSESSMENT WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL FUTURE
 PROJECTS.
 SEC. 78-129. - PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT FOR PRIVATE
 DEVELOPMENT.
 (A) APPLICABILITY. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE AND
 THE PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL
 PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, INCLUDING NEW
 CONSTRUCTION, OR THE RENOVATION OR IMPROVEMENT OF AN
 EXISTING BUILDING, WHERE TOTAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE
 EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN $750,000.00. ALL BUILDINGS
 WITHIN NEW PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS SHALL BE ASSESSED
 CUMULATIVELY TOWARDS THIS ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
 REQUIREMENT, EVEN IF THE BUILDINGS ARE PERMITTED
 SEPARATELY OR DEVELOPED IN PHASES. THE PROVISIONS OF
 THIS SECTION APPLY TO NEW DEVELOPMENT OR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION WITHIN EXISTING PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS.

 2) THE OF $3,912,215.00 IS LOW BASED ON THE LATEST ICC
 VALUATION DATA. THE CALCULATED VALUE FOR THIS MIXED USE
 BUILDING IS $4,471,531.00
 FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE

 QUALIFIER AND OWNER AND BRINGS IN THE LISTED
 SUB-PERMITS M-E-P & ROOFING PERMITS SIGNED BY ARE FREE
 OF CHARGE. IF THE M- THE QUALIFIER OF EACH COMPANY,
 THEIR INSURANCES AND LICENSURE UP TO DATE, THE M-E-P
 AND ROOFING PERMITS E-P & ROOFING PERMITS COME IN LATER
 THERE WILL BE AN $80.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR EACH
 PERMIT.
  
 ALL OTHER PERMITS FIRE SPRINKLER, FIRE ALARM, RACK
 STORAGE, EXHAUST HOODS, ANSUL SYSTEMS OR ALTERNATIVE
 AUTOMATIC FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS, WALK IN COOLERS &
 FREEZERS, ALL LOW VOLTAGE PERMITS, GENERATORS & FUEL
 TANKS, GAS PERMIT, POOL, JACUZZI AND ASSOCIATED
 SUB-PERMITS, AWNING, SCREEN ENCLOSURES, CANOPY, FENCE,
 LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, AUGER CAST PILE AND OR
 FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURE ONLY PERMIT WILL BE SEPARATE
 REVIEWS AND ASSOCIATED FEES WITH EACH PERMIT.
 PLEASE PROVIDE AN ITEMIZED LIST AND SUBTRACT THESE LINE
 ITEMS AND THEIR VALUE FROM THE OVERALL BUILDING VALUE
 STATED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THIS PROJECT. THE
 REMAINING BALANCE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE THE VALUE OF THE
 BUILDING THAT THE PERMIT FEES WILL BE BASED ON FOR THIS

 THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED
 PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE
 PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 12) DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 13) ROOFING: FOR ALL ROOFING PRODUCTS PLEASE IDENTIFY
 ALL ROOFING SUB-SYSTEMS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED PRESSURES
 FOR ROOF ZONE # 1. REVIEW THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 LIMITATIONS, IF ENHANCED FASTENING IS ALLOWED FOR ROOF
 ZONES 2 & 3. FASTENER DENSITIES SHALL BE INCREASED FOR
 BOTH INSULATION & THE BASE SHEET AS CALCULATED IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH ROOFING APPLICATION STANDARDS RAS 117.
 CALCULATION PREPARED, SIGNED AND SEALED BY A FLORIDA
 REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OR REGISTERED

 19) ON SHEET A-7.1.2 THERE IS A DETAIL B THAT HAS A
 BILCO TYPE S HATCH WITH A FIXED LADDER AND SPECIFIED AS
 A FIFTH FLOOR ELEVATION AND THIS IS A THREE STORY
 BUILDING. PLEASE CLARIFY. FBC 107.2.1
  
 20) ON SHEET LS-0.1.1 THE OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR AT THE
 EXTERIOR OF THE TRASH ROOM IS SPECIFIED AS A 90 MIN.
 FIRE RATED DOOR. HOWEVER, THIS DOOR IS NOT SPECIFIED AS
 A RATED DOOR IN THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON SHEET A5.1.3.
