| | BUILDING. PLEASE PROVIDE THE CODE SECTION FROM THE FBC |
| | OR THE SECTION FROM ASCE 7-10 THAT SPECIFICALLY ALLOWS |
| | THE INTERPOLATION OF COMPONENT AND CLADDING PRESSURES. |
| | WHEN YOU HAVE PROVIDED THE SECTIONS THAT YOU ARE USING |
| | FOR YOUR INTERPOLATIONS AND CALCULATIONS, WE WILL |
| | RE-EVALUATE YOUR SUBMITTAL. HOWEVER, BASED ON THE |
| | SUBMITTAL WE AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THE WINDOW IS |
| | LOCATED IN WALL ZONE 5, THEN THE COMPONENT AND CLADDING |
| | PRESSURES OF ZONE 5 APPLY TO THE WINDOW. |

| | 1500 FIXED WINDOWS IN ZONE 5 ARE INCORRECT. RATIONAL |
| | ANALYSIS CAN NOT BE USED TO INCREASE THE WIND LOAD |
| | PRESSURES FOR A TESTED ASSEMBLY. THE NEGATIVE AND |

| | THE VALUES IN THE TABLE ARE ULTIMATE AND CAN BE |
| | MULTIPLIED BY 0.6 TO DETERMINE SERVICE LOADS OR ASD. |
| | AFTER THESE PRESSURES ARE MULTIPLIED BY 0.6, THE |
| | REQUIRED WINDOW DESIGN PRESSURES ARE +54.3 PSF AND |
| | -99.54 PSF. SINCE THE MAXIMUM NEGATIVE DESIGN PRESSURE |
