 466.8 FBC[B] CORRIDORS. EVERY INTERIOR CORRIDOR SHALL
 BE CONSTRUCTED OF WALLS HAVING NOT LESS THAN A 1-HOUR
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING. EXCEPTIONS:
 A. IN BUILDINGS PROTECTED THROUGHOUT BY AN APPROVED,
 SUPERVISED AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTIONS 901.6 AND 903.3.1.1 CORRIDOR WALLS SHALL
 NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE RATED, PROVIDED THAT SUCH WALLS
 FORM SMOKE PARTITIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 710.
 B. WHERE THE CORRIDOR CEILING IS AN ASSEMBLY HAVING A
 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING WHERE TESTED AS A WALL,
 THE CORRIDOR WALLS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO TERMINATE AT
 THE CORRIDOR CEILING.
 C. LAVATORIES IN UNSPRINKLERED BUILDINGS SHALL NOT BE
 REQUIRED TO BE SEPARATED FROM CORRIDORS, PROVIDED THAT
 THEY ARE SEPARATED FROM ALL OTHER SPACES BY WALLS
 HAVING NOT LESS THAN A 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 709.
 D. LAVATORIES SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE SEPARATED
 FROM CORRIDORS, PROVIDED THE BUILDING IS PROTECTED
 THROUGHOUT BY AN APPROVED, SUPERVISED AUTOMATIC

 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CORRIDORS SHALL BE CONTINUOUS
 FROM THE POINT OF ENTRY TO AN EXIT, AND SHALL NOT BE
 INTERRUPTED BY INTERVENING ROOMS. WHERE THE PATH OF
 EGRESS TRAVEL WITHIN A FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CORRIDOR
 TO THE EXIT INCLUDES TRAVEL ALONG UNENCLOSED EXIT
 ACCESS STAIRWAYS OR RAMPS, THE FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING
 SHALL BE CONTINUOUS FOR THE LENGTH OF THE STAIRWAY OR
 RAMP AND FOR THE LENGTH OF THE CONNECTING CORRIDOR ON
 THE ADJACENT FLOOR LEADING TO THE EXIT. EXCEPTIONS:
 A. FOYERS, LOBBIES OR RECEPTION ROOMS CONSTRUCTED AS
 REQUIRED FOR CORRIDORS SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS
 INTERVENING ROOMS.
 B. ENCLOSED ELEVATOR LOBBIES AS PERMITTED BY ITEM 1 OF
 SECTION 1016.2 SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS INTERVENING
 ROOMS.
  
 2) 402.1 FBC[A] PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE FROM PARKING
 LOT. IN ADDITION TO ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCES REQUIRED BY
 SECTIONS 1105.1.1 THROUGH 1105.1.7 (PARKING GARAGE
 ENTRANCES, ENTRANCES FROM TUNNELS OR ELEVATED WALKWAYS,
 RESTRICTED ENTRANCES, ENTRANCES FOR INMATES OR
 DETAINEES, SERVICE ENTRANCES AND ENTRANCES TO TENANT
 SPACES, DWELLING UNITS AND SLEEPING UNITS), AT LEAST 60
