 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE:
 BUILDING REVIEW MAY BE APPROVED WITH PROVISO. PROVISO
 MEANS CONTRACTOR WILL SUBMIT REQUIRED INFORMATION AFTER
 THE PERMIT IS ISSUED BUT BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS. REVISION FEES APPLY. CONTRACTOR TO
 ADVICE IF PROVISO OPTION IS PREFERRED AT THIS TIME OR
 IF RE-SUBMITTING REQUIRED INFORMATION BEFORE PERMIT
 ISSUANCE.
  
 ****IMPORTANT*****
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE SIGNED/DATED BY THE
 OWNER PRIOR TO PASSING THE BUILDING REVIEW WITH
 PROVISO.
  
  
 1- PLANS SUBMITTED NOW DON'T SPECIFY THE TYPE AND SIZE
 OF THE NEW BEDROOM WINDOWS. THE COMMENT ON THE FIRST
 REVIEW DONE ON 03/11/19 WAS THAT THE 37"X52.5" SINGLE
 HUNG WINDOWS SPECIFIED ON THE WINDOW SCHEDULE DON'T
 COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS. PLANS SUBMITTED
 NOW DON'T HAVE THE WINDOW SCHEDULE OR SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE EGRESS WINDOWS. NEED TO SPECIFY TYPE AND SIZE
 OF EGRESS WINDOWS. SEC. 1101.1 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING
 AND SEC. R310.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 2- ORIGINAL PLANS HAD FRAMING DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WINDOW OPENINGS. PLANS SUBMITTED
 NOW DON'T HAVE THE WINDOW OPENING FRAMING DETAILS.
 PROVIDE COMPLETE WINDOW OPENING FRAMING DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND
 CONNECTORS. SEC. 1101.1 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 3- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED (SEC. 1106
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. AND SEC. R101.5 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION):
 A) THE ENERGY FORM R405-2017 IS REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED
 AND DATED BY THE OWNER, ARCHITECT OR OWNER'S LEGALLY
 DESIGNATED AGENT AT THE BOTTOM OF FORM SUBMITTED AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R103.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION,
 6TH EDITION (2017) PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE PERMIT TO
 BEGIN CONSTRUCTION.
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING THE BUILDER'S NAME. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-
 ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 C) NUMBER OF BEDROOMS IS INCORRECT. REVISE ITEM #4 ON
 PAGE 1 OF 4. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED ARE FOR THE BEDROOM
 ADDITION ONLY (336 S. F.). THERE IS ONLY ONE BEDROOM.
  
 D) WALL INFORMATION SHOWN ON ITEM #9 ON PAGE 1 OF 4 IS
 INCORRECT. SEE PLANS AND REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH.
 THERE IS A LOW CONCRETE BLOCK WALL AND THE REST OF THE
 WALL IS WOOD FRAME. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC- ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
  
 E) CEILING INFORMATION SHOWN ON ITEM # 10 ON PAGE 1 OF
 4 IS INCORRECT.. R-30 BUTT INSULATION DOESN'T FIT ON
 EXISTING 2"X8" CEILING JOISTS. R-30 INSULATION IS
 ABLOUT 9-1/2" INCHES THICK. THEREFORE, IT DOESN'T ALLOW
 THE ONE INCH CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR CROSS VENTILATION.
 COORDINATE WITH PLANS AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC.
 R101.5.1.1.2 FBC- ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 F) THE SPACES INFORMATION ON PAGE 2 OF 4 IS INCORRECT.
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED ARE FOR THE BEDROOM
 ADDITION ONLY (336 S. F.). THERE IS NOT KITCHEN IN THE
 BEDROOM. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-
 ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 G) REVISE THE ROOF TYPE SPECIFIED ON PAGE 2 OF 4 TO
 MATCH PLANS. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
 THE BEDROOM DOESN'T HAVE A HIP ROOF. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 H) REVISE THE ATTIC VENT RATIO ON PAGE 2 OF 4. THE
 RATIO IS 1/150 NOT 1/300. SEC. R806.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 OR, PERSON PREPARING THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO PROVIDE
 COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 1/300 RATIO AS REQUIRED BY THE EXCEPTION ON SEC.

 5- ORIGINAL PLANS HAD FRAMING DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW STEPS. PLANS SUBMITTED NOW
 DON'T HAVE THIS DETAIL. PROVIDE DETAIL SHOWING THE
 RISER AND TREAD DIMENSIONS. SEC. 1101.1 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING AND SEC. R311.7.5 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
