 COMMENTS
 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 1- EXISTING PARTIAL FLOOR PLAN SHOWS EXISTING "GUEST
 ROOM". THERE ARE NO PERMITS FOR THE CONVERSION OF THIS
 SPACE TO A GUEST ROOM. THERE IS AN EXPIRED PERMIT
 (#04070675) FOR THE CONVERSION OF THE EXISTING CARPORT
 TO GARAGE. THE PERMIT IS EXPIRED. THE EXPIRED PERMIT
 NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF SINCE IT LOOKS LIKE SOME WORK
 WAS DONE, BUT THERE WERE NO INSPECTIONS. AND, NOW PLANS
 SUBMITTED SHOW THAT IT LOOKS LIKE THERE WAS ADDITIONAL
 WORK DONE WITHOUT PERMITS. ACCORDING TO PLANS
 SUBMITTED, THE PROPOSED GARAGE WAS CONVERTED TO A
 BEDROOM. THE EXPIRED PERMIT CAN BE INCORPORATED INTO
 THIS PERMIT APPLICATION IF ALL WORK THAT WAS DONE
 WITHOUT PERMIT IS REFLECTED ON THE PLANS SUBMITTED NOW
 AND SHOW EVERYTHING AS NEW INSTEAD OF EXITING. THIS WAY
 THE EXPIRED PERMIT MAY BE REVOKED AND THE PROPER
 INSPECTIONS CAN BE PERFORMED. SEC. 105.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 1106 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. AND SEC. R101.4.2
 AND R101.5 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 3- BEDROOM EGRESS WINDOWS DON'T COMPLY WITH THE CLEAR
 OPENING REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 SINGLE HUNG WINDOW #1 SHOWN ON THE WINDOW SCHEDULE (37
 X 52.5) DOESN'T PROVIDE THE MIN. CLEAR HEIGHT OPENING
 OF 24". ALSO, OPENING DIMENSIONS SHOWN ON THE "INFILLED
 GARAGE DOOR OPENING ELEVATION" ON SHEET S2 DON'T SEEM
 TO WORK WITH PROPOSED WINDOW SIZE. COORDINATE
 DIMENSIONS WITH REQUIRED EGRESS WINDOW SIZE.
  
 4- STRUCTURAL WALL SECTIONS PROVIDED ARE MISSING SOME
 INFORMATION. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS ON ALL WALL SECTIONS PROVIDED. CLEARLY
 SPECIFY TOP AND BOTTOM CONNECTIONS FOR ALL FRAMING
 MEMBERS. CLEARLY SPECIFY ALL CONNECTORS SHOWN ON THE
 "INFILLED GARAGE DOOR OPENING ELEVATION" ON SHEET S2.
 SEC. R601.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 (NOTE: THIS MAY BE SUBMITTED LATER AS A DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL)
  
 A)SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS. INFORMATION SUBMITTED IS
 INCOMPLETE. NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL (2 COPIES), INCLUDING THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL COVER PAGE THAT CORRESPONDS TO THE DRAWINGS
 SUBMITTED. THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL IS REQUIRED
 BECAUSE IT SHOWS IF PRODUCT IS APPROVED AND CURRENT
 CODE IN EFFECT.
  
 6- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. REVISE AS REQUIRED OR PROVIDE COPY OF
 SIGNED CONTRACTS INCLUDING THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL
 FEES.
  
 7- PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR
 REVISED MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW
 COMMENTS.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
