 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO COMMENTS:
  
 1) PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF A RECENT SURVEY, LESS THAN ONE
 YEAR OLD.
  
 2) THE LANDSCAPE ISLANDS, WHERE THEY ARE ADJACENT TO
 THE SIDEWALK, NEED TO EXTEND PERPENDICULAR TO THE
 SIDEWALK NOT CURVED. THE ISLANDS ARE NOT PART OF THE
 DRIVEWAY APPROACH.
  
 3) THE PARKING LOT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE CITY'S
 PARKING LOT LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE REFER TO
 PERMIT NO. 17071228.
  
 4) THE AREA ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MIDDLE ROW OF
 PARKING SPACES IS REQUIRED TO BE A TERMINAL LANDSCAPE
 ISLAND, NOT PAINTED PAVEMENT. THIS LANDSCAPE AREA MUST
 BE PROTECTED FROM VEHICULAR ENCROACHMENT WITH A D CURB.
  
 5) THE AREA ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE
 BUILDING IS REQUIRED TO BE A FOUNDATION LANDSCAPE AREA
 SINCE THE BUILDING IS CURRENTLY DEFICIENT IN MEETING
 THE REQUIRED MINIMUM 30% FOUNDATION PLANTING. THIS
 LANDSCAPE AREA MUST BE PROTECTED FROM VEHICULAR
 ENCROACHMENT WITH A D CURB.
  
 6) THE PARKING DETAIL INCLUDED ON SHEET 2 DOES NOT
 COMPLY WITH CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH STANDARDS. USE THE
 CITY STANDARD DETAIL. IT IS AVAILABLE FROM THE PLANNING
 DIVISION.
  
 7) THE 22 FOOT WIDE DRIVE AISLE IS A GRANDFATHERED
 CONDITION.
  
 8) THE BICYCLE PARKING LOCATION DOES NOT MEET THE
 CITY'S LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  
 A. LOCATED IN CONVENIENT, HIGHLY-VISIBLE, ACTIVE,
 WELL-LIGHTED AREAS.
 B. LOCATED AS NEAR THE PRINCIPAL ENTRANCE OF THE
 BUILDING AS PRACTICABLE.
 C. STAFF SUGGESTS LOCATING THE BICYCLE RACK NEAR THE
 SOUTHEASTERN DOOR INSTEAD OF THE STRIPED OUT AREA. THE
 PAD NEEDS TO BE CONSTRUCTED OF CONCRETE, NOT ASPHALT,
 AT THIS LOCATION TO PROVIDE A VISUAL DIFFERENCE FROM
 THE DRIVE AISLE. PLEASE CONTACT STAFF TO DISCUSS THE
 PARTICULARS OF PLACEMENT IN THIS AREA.
  
 9) THE BICYCLE RACK REQUIRES A SEPARATE PERMIT. PROVIDE
 BICYCLE RACK AND PAD DETAILS, INCLUDING DIMENSIONS ON
 THE PLAN. ADDITIONALLY, THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BICYCLE
 PAD NEED TO BE SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN. PLEASE NOTE THAT
 ONLY ONE RACK IS REQUIRED (HAS TWO PARKING SPACES).
  
 10) STAFF SUGGESTS REVIEWING THE OPTION OF REMOVING THE
 POWER POLES AND BURYING THE UTILITY LINES AS THIS WILL
 NOT ONLY IMPROVE THE AESTHETICS OF THE SITE, BUT IT
 WILL ALSO ALLOW MORE FLEXIBILITY IN THE SITE DESIGN AS
 IT RELATES TO THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE. ANOTHER OPTION
 MAY BE TO CONSOLIDATE THE SERVICES ON ONE POLE.
