 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THERE IS A DISCREPANCY OF THE SCOPE OF WORK BETWEEN
 THE CONTRACTOR FILLING OUT THE PERMIT APPLICATION,
 WINDOW REPLACEMENT, A/C & ELECTRICAL WORK AND THE
 ENGINEER OF RECORD STATING IT IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY?
 SHEET 1 OF 4 STATES THIS PERMIT IS FOR A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY. THE CONTRACTOR WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE
 DESCRIPTION OF WORK.
 FOR THIS REVIEW I AM GOING TO GO WITH THE ENGINEERS
 CODE ANALYSIS, SINCE THIS IS HOW THE PLANS WERE
 DEVELOPED.
  
 2) IN THE ENGINEERS TITLE BLOCK NEXT TO THE ENGINEERS
 CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION IS FOUND NOA 13-0222.02
 WHICH IS A LABORATORY CERTIFICATION FOR TURQUOISE
 ENGINEERING LLC, EXPIRED ON 3/21/2018.
  
 3) SHEET 1 OF 4 UNDER THE HEADING OF CODE ANALYSIS,
 EXISTING OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION THE PLANS STATE:
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTIONS 1012 CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY
 CHAPTER 3 ALL COMPLIANCE METHODS.
  
 3A) UNDER THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 1012
 IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY IS TO BE USED IF ONLY A
 PORTION OF THE BUILDING IS UNDERGOING A PARTIAL CHANGE
 OF OCCUPANCY. WHEN GOING TO THE P. B. C. PROPERTY
 APPRAISERS SITE AND VIEW THE DIMENSIONS FOR THIS
 BUILDING, THE WHOLE BUILDING IS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY AND SECTION 1001.2.2 SHOULD BE DECLARED.
  
 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 1001.2.2 CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OR GROUP. WHERE THE OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION OF A BUILDING CHANGES, THE PROVISIONS OF
 SECTIONS 1002 THROUGH 1012 SHALL APPLY. THIS INCLUDES A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AND A CHANGE TO
 ANOTHER GROUP WITHIN AN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.
  
 3B) THE SECOND ISSUE OF CHAPTER 3 OF THE 2017
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE: ALL COMPLIANCE METHODS.
 PLEASE REVIEW THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION
 301.1. THE REPAIR, ALTERATION, CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OF
 ALL EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE
 METHODS LISTED IN SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3 AS
 SELECTED BY THE APPLICANT. SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH
 301.1.3 SHALL NOT BE APPLIED IN COMBINATION WITH EACH
 OTHER.

 RESTRICTIVE) BUT NOT THE PRESSURES, PLEASE PROVIDE IN
 VULT AND VASD SINCE ALL OF THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE IN
 VASD.
 MISSING: DESIGN WIND PRESSURES TO BE USED FOR EXTERIOR
 COMPONENTS AND CLADDING MATERIALS NOT SPECIFICALLY
 DESIGNED BY THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN OF THE STRUCTURE, PSF.

 EXPOSURE. PROVIDE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT FOR THE

 ONLY 28 INCHES CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE DOOR AND JAMB WHEN
 OPENED AT 90 DEGREES. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCESS TO
 THE STORAGE CLOSET. CLOSETS THAT ARE OVER 24 INCHES IN
 DEPTH ARE REQUIRED TO BE ACCESSIBLE.
 PLEASE REVIEW THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 404.2.3. OPENINGS MORE THAN 24 INCHES DEEP SHALL
 PROVIDE A CLEAR OPENING OF 36 INCHES MINIMUM. PLEASE
 ALSO REVIEW THE REQUIREMENT FOR MANEUVERING CLEARANCES
 FIGURE 404.2.4.1(H).
  
 9) SHEET 2 OF 4 DOES NOT SHOW THE EXIT LIGHTS. SHEET 4
 OF 4 DOES SHOW EXIT LIGHTS. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EXIT
 LIGHT AT THE REAR OF THE BUILDING IN THE HALLWAY WILL
 NOT BE VISIBLE IN THE MAIN OPEN OFFICE AREA, A
 DIRECTIONAL EXIT LIGHT WILL NEED TO BE ADDED IN FRONT
 OF THE HALLWAY ENTRANCE. SEE 2017 FBC-B 1013.1 WHERE
 REQUIRED.
  
 10) SHEET 2OF 4 DOES NOT SHOW A BREAK ROOM BUT SHEET 4
 OF 4 DOES SHOW A BREAK ROOM IN THE UTILITY ROOM # 2. NO
 DETAILS WERE SHOWN THIS REVIEW COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 606 LAVATORIES AND SINKS
 COULD NOT BE DETERMINED.
  
 11) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
