 1. PROPERTY IS LOCATED WITHIN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD
 AREA (SFHA) WITH A BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE) OF 6 FEET
 NAVD 88. THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH, BY ORDINANCE,
 REQUIRES A TWO FOOT FREEBOARD ABOVE THE BFE REQUIRING A
 DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION (DFE) OF 8 FEET NAVD 88.
 A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SHALL ESTABLISH THE CORRECT DFE
 BASED ON THE CURRENT FLOOD INSURANCE STUDY(FIS).
  
 2. THE VALUE OF THE PROPOSED WORK, $225,000.00 EXCEEDS
 50% OF THE MARKET VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE, $150,653.00
 REQUIRING YOU TO MEET THE THE SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENTS
 PROVISIONS OF THE CODE AND MAY REQUIRE ELEVATING THE
 STRUCTURE TO BRING IT INTO COMPLIANCE.
  
 3. YOU MAY EVALUATE THE STRUCTURE PER FEMA P758, DESK
 REFERENCE CHAPTER 4 FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENTS PROVISION. (SEE LINK BELOW)

 7. STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS COVER PAGE INDICATES THERE
 ARE 45 PAGES. THERE ARE ONLY 10 PAGES PROVIDED. PLEASE
 CLARIFY.
  
 8. PROVIDE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING
 PRODUCT APPROVALS: A. EXT. DOORS FL-251-R30. B. FIXED
 WINDOWS FL243-R21. C. CASEMENT WINDOWS FL245-R12 AND D.
 EXTERIOR DOORS FL253-R19.
  
 9. DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL NOA'S AND PRODUCT APPROVALS. SELECT MODEL TO BE
 INSTALLED.
  
 10. PROVIDE DESIGN WIND LOADS FOR ALL WINDOW AND DOOR
 OPENINGS. YOU MAY PLACE THESE ON THE PLANS OR WINDOW
 AND DOOR SCHEDULE.
  
 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 DIMENSIONED AND DRAWN UPON SUITABLE MATERIAL.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY
 TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED
 MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS.
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
