 1) THE POLE STYLE AND HEIGHT MEET CITY REQUIREMENTS.
 THE POLE COLOR IS TO MATCH THE EXISTING DECORATIVE CITY
 LIGHT POLES (SPECKLED CONCRETE) LOCATED ON SOUTH
 FLAGLER DRIVE AND EVERNIA STREET.
  
 2) THE POLE LOCATION IS APPROVED BY THE SPECIAL EVENTS;
 HOWEVER, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CLARITY IS REQUIRED SO
 PLANNING STAFF CAN VERIFY THAT THERE IS PROPER ADA
 CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE POLE AND THE EDGE OF THE
 SIDEWALK:
  
 A. STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE RAYCAP POLE DESIGN
 INFORMATION THAT WAS PROVIDED, AND IT SHOWS A 14-INCH
 DIAMETER POLE MOUNTED ON A 16-INCH OUTSIDE DIMENSION
 BASE PLATE. THE BASE PLATE SETS THE WIDTH OF THE ABOVE
 GROUND FACILITY AT GRADE. SHEET C-3 SHOWS THE CAISSON
 EXTENDING 8-INCHES PAST THE EDGE OF THE POLE, WHICH IS
 7-INCHES PAST THE EDGE OF THE BASE PLATE.
  
 B. THE SURVEY MUST CLEARLY SHOW THE DIMENSION FROM THE
 INSIDE EDGE OF THE CURB TO THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE AND
 THE DIMENSION FROM THE INSIDE EDGE OF THE CURB FOR THE
 WIDTH OF THE SIDEWALK. THE 6-INCH CURB MAY NOT BE
 INCLUDED IN THIS MEASURE, SINCE THE 6-INCH CURB IS NOT
 CONSIDERED A FLUSH SURFACE AND MAY NOT BE USED TO MEET
 THE REQUIRED ADA MINIMUM SIDEWALK WIDTH OF 36-INCHES.
  
 C. BASED ON THE INFORMATION THAT IS REQUIRED ON THE
 SURVEY AND THE POLE SPECIFICATIONS, STAFF WILL VERIFY
 THAT THERE IS ADA SIDEWALK CLEARANCE. NOTE: IF THE
 CAISSON IS INSTALLED AT THE EDGE OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY,
 THEN THE BASE PLATE EXTENDS 23-INCHES FROM THE
 RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE AND INTO THE SIDEWALK. IN ORDER TO
 HAVE THE 36-INCH CLEARANCE, THE WIDTH FROM THE INSIDE
 EDGE OF THE CURB TO THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE MUST BE SHOWN
 ON THE SURVEY AS AT LEAST 59-INCHES OR 4.92-FEET.
  
 4) FROM THE INFORMATION CURRENTLY PRESENTED, THE
 14-INCH DIAMETER POLE DOES NOT FIT AT THIS LOCATION.
  
 5) THE SUBMITTED PLANS SHOW THE UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC
 BEING SUPPLIED FROM AN FPL TRANSFORMER THAT IS LOCATED
 ON CITY PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF EVERNIA STREET.
 THE SURVEY NEEDS TO SHOW THAT THE AREA WHERE YOU PLAN
 TO PULL POWER FROM ACROSS CITY PROPERTY IS LOCATED
 WITHIN A UTILITY EASEMENT. IF NO EASEMENT IS PRESENT,
 YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE POWER FROM AN ALTERNATIVE
 LOCATION. THE UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC PLANS MUST BE
 INCLUDED WITH THE ELECTRIC PERMIT 21010664.
