 2) THIS PROJECT IS AN ALTERATION AND ADDITION TO AN
 EXISTING BUILDING. THIS IS A LEVEL 3 ALTERATION BECAUSE
 THE WORK AREA IS THE ENTIRE BUILDING. SPECIFY THE LEVEL
 OF ALTERATION ON THE PLANS. FBC 107.2.1 & FBC EXISTING
 BUILDING 505
  
 3) PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE ACCESSIBLE
 LIFT THAT IS PROPOSED TO PROVIDE VERTICAL ACCESS TO THE
 SECOND FLOOR. PLEASE CLARIFY IF THIS IS A LIFT OR AN
 ELEVATOR. PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
 FOR THE LIFT'S SHAFT/ELEVATOR HOISTWAY. SPECIFY THE
 DIMENSIONS OF THE LIFT/ELEVATOR CAR. PROVIDE
 MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE LIFT/ELEVATOR.

 PLANS WILL BE REVIEWED BY THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE
 DIGITALLY VIA PROJECTDOX UPON NOTIFICATION BY THIS
 OFFICE. NOTIFICATION MAY OCCUR WHEN PLANS ARE NEAREST
 FINAL FORM. YOU MAY COORDINATE WITH THE IMPACT FEE
 OFFICE AT (561) 233-5025 OR SIMPLY UPLOAD THE MUNICIPAL
 IMPACT FEE QUESTIONNAIRE FORM TO YOUR PROJECT AND NAME
 THE FILE MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEE QUESTIONNAIRE. THE FORM

 5) PROVIDE A MORE DETAILED LIFE SAFETY PLAN, FBC
 107.2.1. CLEARLY IDENTIFY ALL EXITS, FBC 1006. SHOW ALL
 REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS PATHS OF TRAVEL, FBC 1005.
 SPECIFY THE DOOR WIDTHS AND THE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
 THAT WILL BE USING EACH EXIT, FBC 1005. SHOW THE
 EXIT/EXIT ACCESS SEPARATION DISTANCE REQUIRED BY FBC
 1007.1.1
  
 6) THE DOOR ON GROUND LEVEL AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
 THE BUILDING IN CORRIDOR #125 CAN NOT BE USED AS AN
 EXIT. THE EXIT DISCHARGES ONTO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY
 AND DOES NOT OPEN TO A PUBLIC WAY AS REQUIRED. FBC

 7) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN APPEARS TO SHOW AN EXIT EGRESS
 THROUGH A KITCHEN AREA (CAFE, ROOM #114). FBC 1016.2
 (5) DOES NOT ALLOW EGRESS TO PASS THROUGH KITCHENS.
  
 8) PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THE OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR OF 15
 NET WAS DETERMINED FOR THE ASSEMBLY AREA. THE PLANS
 APPEAR TO SHOW CONCENTRATED CHAIRS THAT ARE NOT FIXED,
 WHICH WOULD BE AN OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR OF 7 NET. IF THE
 CHAIRS ARE NOT PRESENT, THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED
 STANDING SPACE WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR OF 5 NET.

 10) IDENTIFY GLAZING/ MULLIONS.
 PLEASE IDENTIFY ON THE PRODUCT APPROVAL BEFORE
 SUBMITTING TO DESIGNER OF RECORD AND BEFORE SUBMISSION
 TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH
 GLAZING, PLEASE IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT,
 TYPE OF GLAZING, MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED
 OR REINFORCED INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND
 ASSOCIATE PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2017 FBC-B
 1405.13.1 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURE'S
 INSTRUCTIONS. FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN SUCH INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED
 BASED ON MAXIMUM LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
 W. P. B. 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 11) DELEGATED ENGINEERING. 61G15-30.003 ENGINEERING
 DOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION. FL 61G-15-30.006 (3) THE
 DELEGATED ENGINEER SHALL FORWARD THE DELEGATED
 ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR
 REVIEW.
  
 12) 107.3.4.1 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 13) THRESHOLDS ACCESS. CODE 404.2.5. THRESHOLDS, IF
 PROVIDED AT DOORWAYS, SHALL BE 1/2 INCH (13 MM) HIGH
 MAXIMUM. RAISED THRESHOLDS AND CHANGES IN LEVEL AT
 DOORWAYS SHALL COMPLY WITH 302 AND 303.
  
 14) THE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS INDICATE THAT THE METAL BAR
 JOISTS WILL BE MODIFIED. THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY.
 WELDED OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS
 THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE
 SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE
 QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED
 STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION.

 2017 FBC-B 2204.2 BOLTING.
  
 15) THE STRUCTURAL PLANS SHOW A NEW FOOTING FOR THE NEW
 EXTERIOR WALL. THERE WAS NO SURVEY SUBMITTED TO SHOW
 THE LOCATION OF THE EXTERIOR WALL WITH RELATION TO THE
 PROPERTY LINE. IT IS NOT CLEAR ON THE STRUCTURAL
 DRAWING IF THE PROPERTY LINE DRAWN IS AN ACCURATE
 REPRESENTATION. THE NEW FOOTING FOR THE EXTERIOR WALL
 CAN NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE PROPERTY LINE. FBC 107.2.5
  
 16) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
