 1) SHEET A202: THE VENTILATION CALCULATIONS ARE NOT IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE 403.3.1.1 FBC M.
  
 A) THE FOOD SERVICE AREA (DINING ROOM) CALCULATION IS
 BASED ON A ZONE POPULATION OF 70 PERSONS PER 1000 SF AT
 7.5 CFMS PERSON- (68 PERSONS X 7.5 CFMS= 510 CFMS ) + (
 0.18 CFMS PER SF.= 168 CFMS). TOTAL CFMS- 510 + 168 =
 678 CFMS.
  
 B) THE RETAIL/GALLERY AREA CALCULATION IS 40 PERSONS
 PER 1000 SF. AT 7.5 CFMS PER PERSON- (48 PERSONS X 7.5
 CFMS= 353 CFMS) + (0.06 PER SF= 71). TOTAL CFMS- 353 +
 71 = 424 CFMS.
  
 NOT INCLUDED IN THE CALCULATION IS THE SECOND FLOOR
 MECHANICAL SPACE. PLEASE CLARIFY THE USE OF SUCH A
 LARGE SPACE FOR THE MINIMAL AMOUNT OF MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT SHOWN ON THE PLAN SHOWN THERE, AND CORRECT
 THE TABLE TO INCLUDE THE ACCURATE CALULATIONS FOR ALL
 AREAS OF THE FACILITY.
  
 2) SHEET A201 & A202: BASED ON THE INCREASED OCCUPANT
 LOAD FOR THE TENANT SPACE, AND INCREASED HEAT GAIN FROM
 LIGHTING, PEOPLE, APPLIANCES ETC, PLEASE PROVIDE AC
 CALCULATIONS TO VERIFY THE EXISTING SYSTEMS ARE CAPABLE
 OF CONDITIONING AND DEHUMIDIFYING THE SPACE AS
 REQUIRED- SECTIONS C403.2.1 AND C403.2.2 FBC EC.
  
 3) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW
 CONVECTION OVEN AND PANINI PRESS. IT IS ASSUMED AT THE
 TIME OF THIS REVIEW THAT AT A MINIMUM, A TYPE II
 EXHAUST HOOD FOR THE OVEN IS REQUIRED, UNLESS THE
 COOKING PROCESS PRODUCES GREASE OR SMOKE- SEE SECTIONS
 507.2 & 507.3 FBC M. PLEASE NOTE THAT SEPARATE PERMITS
 ARE REQUIRED FOR KITCHEN HOODS AND FIRE SUPPRESSION
 SYSTEMS.
  
 4) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW
 DISHWASHER AND PROVIDE A TYPE II EXHAUST HOOD FOR THE
 APPLIANCE- SECTION 507.2.
  
 5) SHEET A201: UNDER THE "DESCRIPTION OF FACILITY USE"
 PLEASE INDICATE WHAT FOOD ITEMS ARE COOKED AND SERVED
 AT THE FACILTIY. PLEASE INCLUDE A MENU IF AVAILABLE.
  
 6) THE $5000.00 VALUE LISTED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION
 APPEARS LOW FOR THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
 PLEASE SEE SECTION 109.3 WPB BELOW AND SUBMIT
 CONTRACTS, AND/OR INVOICES AND ESTIMATES TO VERIFY
 PROJECT COSTS.
  
 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR PERMITTING
 PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. ADDITIONALLY, PLEASE INSERT
 CORRECTED PLAN SHEETS INTO THE SETS, REMOVE THE
 PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS AND MARK VOID ON THEM, AND
 KEEP THEM WITH THE SUBMITTALS
