 REVIEW COMMENTS - FIRE DEPARTMENT
  
 1) PROVIDE THE COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL MEASUREMENTS FOR
 EACH AREA.
  
 2) THE BUILDING IS FUNCTIONING AS A MULTIUSE OCCUPANCY.
 INDICATE IF THE BUILDING IS DESIGNED FOR MIXED USE
 (NON-SEPARATED) OR SEPARATED USE PER SECTION 6.1.14.3
 OF NFPA 101 FLORIDA EDITION 2015. FOR NON-SEPARATED
 MIXED USE OCCUPANCIES, THE MOST STRINGENT FIRE AND LIFE
 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS OF EACH OCCUPANCY SHALL APPLY TO
 THE BUILDING.
  
 3) NFPA 101, CH. 7 - 7.5.1.3.1: WHERE MORE THAN ONE
 EXIT, EXIT ACCESS, OR EXIT DISCHARGE IS REQUIRED FROM A
 BUILDING OR PORTION THEREOF, SUCH EXITS, EXIT ACCESSES,
 OR EXIT DISCHARGES SHALL BE REMOTELY LOCATED FROM EACH
 OTHER AND BE ARRANGED TO MINIMIZE THE POSSIBILITY THAT
 MORE THAN ONE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE BLOCKED
  
 4) PROVIDE DRAWING NOTE INDICATING, ?FIRE PROTECTION
 SYSTEMS SHALL REMAIN ACTIVE DURING DEMOLITION AND
 RENOVATION ACTIVITIES. IN THE EVENT A FIRE PROTECTION
 SYSTEM IS OUT OF SERVICE FOR MORE THAN 4-HOURS IN A
 24-HOUR PERIOD, THE BUILDING SHALL BE PLACED UNDER A
 FIRE WATCH. ALL FIRE WATCH REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED
 BY EMAIL ([email protected]) OR IN WRITING (FAX:
 561-804-4774) AND APPROVED BY THE OFFICE OF THE FIRE
 MARSHAL LOCATED AT 500 NORTH DIXIE HIGHWAY.?
  
 5) EVERY ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY ROOM NOT HAVING FIXED SEATS
 SHALL HAVE THE OCCUPANT LOAD OF THE ROOM POSTED IN A
 CONSPICUOUS PLACE NEAR THE MAIN EXIT FROM THE ROOM.
 SIGNS SHALL BE DURABLE AND INDICATE THE NUMBER OF
 OCCUPANTS PERMITTED FOR EACH ROOM.
  
 6) A THOROUGH AND COMPLETE PLAN REVIEW CANNOT BE
 COMPLETED AT THIS TIME DUE TO LACK OF INFORMATION
 SUBMITTED ON THE PLANS. ADDITIONAL PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS
 MAY BE GENERATED DURING PLAN RESUBMISSION.
