 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) ON BOTH SHEETS FOR THE 17TH & 18TH FLOORS THERE IS A
 SPECIFIC DEMOLITION NOTE STATING ALL WALLS, DOOR AND
 FIXTURES SHOWN IN SOLID LINES ARE EXISTING TO REMAIN.
 THE AREA OF CONCERN IS THE ELEVATOR LOBBY FOR BOTH
 FLOORS. THERE IS NO NOTES STATING THAT THIS BUILDING
 HAS PRESSURIZED ELEVATOR SHAFTWAYS IN COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE 2017 FBC-B 3006.3 HOISTWAY OPENING PROTECTION. ONE
 OF 4 METHODS. YOU ARE REMOVING THE ENCLOSED ELEVATOR
 LOBBY.
  
 IN THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SEE SECTION 803.2.2
 SUPPLEMENTAL SHAFT AND FLOOR OPENING ENCLOSURE
 REQUIREMENTS. WHERE THE WORK AREA ON ANY FLOOR EXCEEDS
 50 PERCENT OF THAT FLOOR AREA, THE ENCLOSURE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 803.2 SHALL APPLY TO VERTICAL
 OPENINGS OTHER THAN STAIRWAYS THROUGHOUT THE FLOOR.
  
 WITH THE REMOVAL OF THE ELEVATOR LOBBY A VIOLATION IS
 BEING CREATED. CREATION OR EXTENSION OF NONCONFORMITY.
 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 801.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING. CREATION OR EXTENSION
 OF NONCONFORMITY. ALL NEW WORK, RE-CONFIGURATION SHALL
 NOT CREATE OR EXTEND ANY NONCONFORMITY IN THE EXISTING
 BUILDING TO WHICH THE RE-CONFIGURATION OF SPACE IS
 BEING MADE WITH REGARD TO ACCESSIBILITY, STRUCTURAL
 STRENGTH, FIRE SAFETY, MEANS OF EGRESS, OR THE CAPACITY
 OF MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, OR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.
  
 2) . A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
