 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 1- SCOPE OF WORK IS NOT CLEAR. DESCRIPTION OF WORK IN
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION CALLS FOR "REMOVAL OF 4 WINDOWS
 AND REPLACED WITH IDENTICAL MATCHING SIDING & FRAMING".
 CLARIFY WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF WORK IN FRAMING. IF
 FRAMING IS FOR THE WINDOWS, THEN PROVIDE COMPLETE
 FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING
 MEMBERS AND ALL CONNECTORS. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ALSO, PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR TYPE
 OF SIDING AND AREAS OF WORK. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- CLEARLY SPECIFY THE TYPE AND SIZE OF EXISTING WINDOW
 AND TYPE AND SIZE OF PROPOSED WINDOW. NEED THIS TO
 VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE BEDROOM EGRESS REQUIREMENTS
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 702.5 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 NOTE: IF THERE ARE TWO WINDOWS MULLED TOGETHER IN THE
 BEDROOM, THEN THERE ARE 5 WINDOWS TOTAL NOT 4.
  
 3- CLEARLY IDENTIFY EACH ROOM, INCLUDING ROOM WHERE
 WINDOWS #2 AND #3 ARE GOING TO BE REPLACED. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) TYPE OF WINDOWS TO BE INSTALLED. NOTE: IF WINDOWS
 DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLASS, THEN HURRICANE SHUTTERS MAY BE
 REQUIRED. (HURRICANE SHUTTERS PRODUCT APPROVAL AND
 COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE WILL BE REQUIRED.
 COORDINATE WITH HISTORIC DEPARTMENT FOR SHUTTERS
 INSTALLATION APPROVAL)
  
 B) WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. AND, CLEARLY MARK
 MULLION SIZE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE CALCULATED
 DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 5-- FLOOR PLANS SUBMITTED NEED TO HAVE THE NAME AND
 SIGNATURE OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES (IF ANY) AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3
 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE VALUATION.
  
  
 ****PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO HELP EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
  
 ****PLEASE INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING AND REMOVE OLD
 DRAWING. SUBMIT OLD DRAWINGS FOR REFERENCE OF ALREADY
 REVIEWED DRAWINGS. DO NOT STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS TO PLANS.
