 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 1- PERMIT APPLICATION STATES "ADD DAYCARE (E) OCCUPANCY
 TO EXISTING (R3) OCCUPANCY FOR 6 CHILDREN. NO REMODEL
 WORK PROPOSED".
 BASED ON THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN THE PROPOSED CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY REQUIRES FLOOR PLANS (SIGNED AND SEALED AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 481.229 F.S.) SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE PROPOSED USE. ALSO, A NEW CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
 WILL BE REQUIRED. SEC. 1001.2 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 2- FLOOR PLANS NEED TO BE CLEAR SPECIFYING THE AGES OF
 THE CHILDREN AND IF THE DAY CARE WILL PROVIDE
 EDUCATION. A DAY CARE WITH 6 CHILDREN MAY BE CONSIDERED
 AS EDUCATIONAL GROUP E (SEC. 305.2 FBC) OR
 INSTITUTIONAL I-4 (SEC. 308.6 FBC). DESIGNER OF RECORD
 TO MAKE CLEAR THE GROUP CLASSIFICATION FOR PROPER PLAN
 REVIEW. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: PLANS NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS
 REQUIREMENTS AND ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
 PROPOSED USE. SPRINKLERS MAY BE REQUIRED. PARKING AND
 ACCESSIBLE PARKING MAY BE REQUIRED. ALSO, CHECK SEC.
 466 FBC FOR DAY CARE OCCUPANCIES REQUIREMENTS.
  
 3- PLANS NEED TO SHOW SEPARATION OF OCCUPANCIES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 508.4 FBC.
  
 4- IMPACT FEES - CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY REQUIRES REVIEW BY
 THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE. CALL (561) 233-5025. UPON
 APPROVAL, YOU MAY CHECK OUT ONE PLAN SET AND TAKE TO
 THAT OFFICE FOR REVIEW. PLEASE RETURNED STAMPED AND
 WITH A COPY OF THE RECEIPT AS APPLICABLE. PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEE QUESTIONNAIRE FORM TO

 5- SCOPE OF WORK NEEDS TO BE REVISED IN THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION. A LINCENSED CONTRACTOR MAY BE REQUIRED
 (SEC. 489.105 F.S. ). PERMIT FEES WILL APPLY BASED ON
 THE REVISED SCOPE OF WORK AND VALUATION. VALUATION TO
 INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND
 PROFIT AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED MATERIALS MAY
 RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS. PLEASE PROVIDE
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT TO HELP
 EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
