 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) GENERAL NOTES NOTE (1) INDICATES THE PLANS WERE
 DEVELOPED UNDER THE 5TH EDITION OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE. PLEASE NOTE THE 6TH EDITION OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, (2017) WAS ADOPTED STATEWIDE
 DEC. 31/ 2017. PLEASE UPDATE PLANS.

 INDICATE III-B AND LEVEL OF ALTERATION AS A LEVEL III.
 PLEASE UNDER THE 2017 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE
 SECTION 505.1 SCOPE. LEVEL 3 ALTERATIONS APPLY WHERE
 THE WORK AREA EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE BUILDING AREA.
 NOT THE TENANT AREA. PLEASE UPDATE THE PLANS, SHEET

 2A) THE FLOOR PLAN DOES NOT SHOW THE FIXTURES IN THE
 RESTROOM. THE RESTROOM IS INDICATED TO BE ONLY 5 FEET
 WIDE, PLEASE PROVIDE THE LAYOUT OF THE FIXTURES, IT
 APPEARS THAT IT MAY NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN
 ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM. IF NOT PLEASE SHOW WHERE 20% OF
 THE $125,000.00 DOLLARS ARE BEING USED IN ACCESSIBLE
 UPGRADES AND IN THE ORDER AS DIRECTED UNDER :
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
 (1) COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING AN ACCESSIBLE
 ENTRANCE AND AN ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREAS,
 (2) COST ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE,
 SUCH AS INSTALLING GRAB BARS, ENLARGING TOILET STALLS,
 INSULATING PIPES, OR INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET
 CONTROLS.
 (3) THE DETAIL SHOWN FOR THE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM SHOWS
 THE ENTRANCE DOOR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROOM NOT THE END
 AS SHOWN IN THE FLOOR PLANS. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE SIDE
 WALL DOES NOT PROVIDE THE DISTANCE IN FEET AND INCHES
 FOR THIS ROOM.
  
 2B) AT THE REAR OF THE BUILDING THE PLANS INDICATE WHAT
 APPEARS TO BE A BREAK ROOM BUT IS LABELED A KITCHEN.
 PLEASE NOTE THE OVERALL TRAVEL DISTANCE IS OVER 110
 FEET. IN THE 2017 FBC-B TABLE 1006.2.1 IN A SPRINKLERED
 BUILDING THE ALLOWABLE TRAVEL DISTANCE IS 100 FEET,
 THEN REQUIRING A SECOND EXIT IF OVER THAT DISTANCE. THE
 2ND EXIT AT THE REAR OF THE BUILDING TRAVELS THROUGH
 WHAT IS LABELED A KITCHEN. SECTION 1016.2 OF THE FBC-B
 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES. (5) NOT ALLOWED
 THROUGH KITCHENS, YOU MAY WANT TO RELABEL THE USAGE AS
 A BREAK ROOM AS LONG AS THERE WILL BE NO APPLIANCES
 WITH FLAMES, STOVES.
 2C) THE FLOOR PLAN DOES NOT SHOW IF THE FRONT AND REAR
 EXITS ARE ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF EGRESS WITH A LANDING ON
 THE EXTERIOR SIDE OF THE DOOR LESS THAN ? INCH OF
 FINISH FLOOR. SEE ACCESS. CODE 303.2 VERTICAL CHANGES
 IN LEVEL.
  
 2D) THE FLOOR PLAN ALSO SHOWS A RECEPTION DESK WITH A
 HIGH AND LOW COUNTERS. THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 2017 ACCESS. CODE 904.3.3 CHECK WRITING SURFACES.
 NOR SERVICE COUNTERS 904.4.
  
 2E) THIS FLOOR PLAN IDENTIFIES A DIAMOND 3 A DISPLAY
 CASE AND DIAMOND 4 WHAT APPEARS TO BE EITHER CHAIRS AND
 OR STOOLS. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED 107.2.1.
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH ACCESS. CODE FOR ACCESSIBILITY,
 904.4.
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED

 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
