 WITH RESPECT TO EVALUATION OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS?
 DOCUMENTS, IF A LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINDS IT NECESSARY, IN
 ORDER TO ENFORCE COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE AND ISSUE A PERMIT, TO REJECT DESIGN DOCUMENTS
 REQUIRED BY THE CODE THREE OR MORE TIMES FOR FAILURE TO
 CORRECT A CODE VIOLATION SPECIFICALLY AND CONTINUOUSLY
 NOTED IN EACH REJECTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
 EGRESS, FIRE PROTECTION, STRUCTURAL STABILITY, ENERGY,
 ACCESSIBILITY, LIGHTING, VENTILATION, ELECTRICAL,
 MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND GAS SYSTEMS, OR OTHER
 REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFIED BY RULE OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 COMMISSION ADOPTED PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 120, THE LOCAL
 GOVERNMENT SHALL IMPOSE, EACH TIME AFTER THE THIRD SUCH
 REVIEW THE PLANS ARE REJECTED FOR THAT CODE VIOLATION,
 A FEE OF FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPORTION OF THE
 PERMIT FEE ATTRIBUTED TO PLANS REVIEW.
 IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR YOU TO COME IN AND MEET WITH THE
 PLAN REVIEW STAFF BEFORE RESUBMITTING.
  
 NOTE:THE PLANS INDICATE AN EXISTING GAS METER. THE BTU
 LOAD OF THE EXISTING GAS SYSTEM MUST BE ADDED INTO THE
 TOTAL BTU LOAD ON THE SYSTEM TO ENSURE THE EXISTING
 SYSTEM IS PROPERLY SIZED. IF UNDERSIZED, THE EXISTING
 SYSTEM MUST BE REDONE TO ENSURE A SAFE OPERATING
 SYSTEM. SUBMIT A GAS PIPING RISER DIAGRAM THAT SHOWS
 THE TYPE OF EXISTING APPLIANCE, THE BTU LOAD OF EACH
 APPLIANCE, THE PIPE SIZE AND TYPE OF PIPE TO EACH
 APPLIANCE, AND THE DISTANCE OF THE LONGEST LENGTH OF
 PIPING FROM THE POINT OF DELIVERY TO THE MOST REMOTE
 OUTLET AND THE LOAD OF THE SECTION. NOTE: IF THE
 EXISTING SYSTEM IS LESS THAN A 2 PSI SYSTEM AND THE
 SYSTEM PRESSURE IS INCREASED TO 2 PSI, A LINE PRESSURE
 REGULATOR IS REQUIRED AT ALL THE EXISTING APPLIANCES.

 1) SUBMIT AN ISOMETRIC DRAWING THAT CLEARLY SHOWS THE
 LENGTH OF ALL CUT SECTIONS OF PIPE. GAS RANGE IS NOT
 SHOWING ON GAS ISOMETRIC DRAWING BUT SHOWS AS BEING
 RELOCATED. FBC-RES SEC. G2413.4.1, G2413.4.2.
  
 2) SUBMIT COMBUSTION AIR CALCULATIONS FOR THE RANGE.
 WHERE COMBUSTION AIR IS PROVIDED BY THE BUILDING?S
 MECHANICAL VENTILATION SYSTEM, THE SYSTEM SHALL PROVIDE
 THE SPECIFIED COMBUSTION AIR RATE IN ADDITION TO THE
 REQUIRED VENTILATION AIR. 2017 FBCR G2407.9.3.
  
 3) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER?S SPECIFICATION SHEETS /
 INSTALLATION MANUAL FOR ALL GAS EQUIPMENT TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS NFPA 54, NFPA 58, AND
 FBC-2017 FUEL GAS CODE SEC. 402.2, AND 301.3 OR 2017
 FBC-RES. SEC. G2404.3. GAS APPLIANCES SHALL BE LISTED
 AND LABELED. THE INSTALLATION MANUALS FOR ALL GAS
 APPLIANCES / EQUIPMENT SHALL BE ONSITE AT THE TIME OF
 INSPECTION.2017, FBC-RES. SEC.G2408.1
  
 4) SUBMIT CALCULATIONS FOR COMBUSTION AIR PER THE 2017
 FBC-RES. SEC. G 2407.1 AND G2439.4 (CLOTHES DRYERS)
  
 5) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF A HOUSE PLAN SHOWING THE
 LOCATION OF THE TANKLESS WATER HEATER AND THE LOCATION
 AND DISTANCE OF ANY OPERABLE DOORS OR WINDOWS IN
 RELATION TO THE WATER HEATER. THE LOCATION OF THE WATER
 HEATER SHALL COMPLY WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. THE HOUSE PLAN CAN BE HAND
 DRAWN. WPB AMEND. TO FBC SEC. 107.2.
  
 6) PLANS SUBMITTED ARE NOT SIGNED BY THE PERSON
 DESIGNING THE SYSTEM AS REQUIRED. FAC 471, 481
  
 7) VALUE OF JOB IS TOO LOW. $800.00 DOES NOT COVER THE
 COST OF THE DRYER AND TANKLESS WATER HEATER ALONE. COST
 MUST INCLUDE ALL MATERIAL AND LABOR. FOR OWNER BUILDER
 IT SHOULD BE VALUED AS IF WAS CONTRACTED OUT. 109.3
 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATIONS. IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING,
 ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL OR
 PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON THE
 APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED, UNLESS THE
 APPLICANT CAN SHOW DETAILED, QUANTITY ESTIMATES, AND/OR
 BONA FIDE SIGNED CONTRACTS (EXCLUDING LAND VALUE) TO
 MEET THE APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
