 PLEASE PROVIDE A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING PLAN
 REVIEW COMMENTS:
  
 1. THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION FENCE IS SHOWN BLOCKING
 THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK ALONG SOUTH FLAGLER DRIVE. WHAT
 ACCOMMODATTIONS ARE BEING MADE FOR PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC?
  
 2. NEED TO MAXIMIZE THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES LEFT
 OPEN AND AVAILABLE FOR USE BY THE CHURCH. ONGOING
 ACTIVITIES AT THE CHURCH REQUIRE THE PROVISION OF AT
 LEAST 459 PARKING SPACES?BASED UPON THE PROPOSED
 LOCATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION FENCE, ONLY 417 SPACES
 WILL BE LEFT OPEN AND AVAILABLE.
  
 3. IS SCREENING PROPOSED ON THE CONSTRUCTION FENCE?
 PURSUANT TO SEC. 94-316 OF THE CITY?S ZONING AND LAND
 DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, SCREENING DETAILS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED WITH THE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCE PERMIT
 APPLICATION. WIND SCREENING SHALL BE SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH
 TO AVOID RIPS OR TEARS DUE TO WIND OR SUN, AND SHALL
 HAVE NO LESS THAN 85 PERCENT OPACITY.
  
 4. ARE GRAPHICS OR SIGNAGE PROPOSED? SCREENING GRAPHICS
 SHALL BE APPROVED WITH A PERMIT PURSUANT TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 94, ARTICLE XIII, SIGN
 REGULATIONS, OF THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 REGULATIONS.
  
 GENERAL NOTES REGARDING CONSTRUCTION FENCES:
  
 A. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCES MAY NOT BE ERECTED
 UNTIL A DEMOLITION PERMIT OR BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE
 LAND DISTURBING CONSTRUCTION OR LAND DEVELOPMENT
 ACTIVITIES HAS BEEN ISSUED, AND NO MORE THAN TEN DAYS
 PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF LAND DISTURBING
 CONSTRUCTION OR LAND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.
  
 B. IN THE EVENT THAT THE DEMOLITION PERMIT OR BUILDING
 PERMIT EXPIRES, ALL TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCES SHALL
 BE REMOVED WITHIN TEN DAYS OF THE PERMIT EXPIRATION
 DATE, AND WITHIN 15 DAYS OF REMOVAL OF THE FENCES, THE
 SITE SHALL BE BROUGHT TO GRADE, TILLED AND PLANTED WITH
 GROUND COVER TO INCLUDE SODDING OR SEEDING WHICH SHALL
 HAVE IRRIGATION AND SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION 74-2 AND 94-446 OF THIS CODE.
  
 C. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCES SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE AND
 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (OSHA)
 STANDARDS.
  
 D. ALL TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCING SHALL BE
 MAINTAINED IN A SATISFACTORY MANNER BY THE PERMITTEE OR
 LANDOWNER, DURING THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF THE LAND
 DISTURBING CONSTRUCTION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 ACTIVITIES, TO ENSURE ADEQUATE PERFORMANCE, TO PREVENT
 NUISANCE CONDITIONS AND TO MAINTAIN THE PUBLIC HEALTH,
 SAFETY AND WELFARE.
  
 E. GATES SHALL BE CHAINED AND LOCKED WITH A LOCK
 SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH TO ENSURE CLOSURE AND SECURITY WHEN
 WORKERS ARE NOT ON THE JOB SITE.
  
 F. ALL WIND SCREENING MATERIALS SHALL BE REMOVED UPON
 THE ISSUANCE OF A HURRICANE WARNING FOR AN AREA
 INCLUDING THE CITY. SCREENING MATERIALS SHALL BE
 REINSTALLED NOT MORE THAN TEN DAYS AFTER THE HURRICANE
 THREAT HAS ENDED.
