 PLAN REVIEW RESULTS: DENIED.
  
 1) SHEET M6.1: REFER TO SECTION 403.3.1.1 AND TABLE
 403.3.1 AND REVISE THE O/A CALCULATIONS TO INCLUDE THE
 WORK AREA, THE MACHINE AND PLASTER ROOMS. THE MOST
 SIMILAR OCCUPANCY IN THE TABLE WOULD BE WOOD/METAL
 SHOPS WHICH REQUIRES O/A RATES BASED ON (20 PERSONS PER
 1000 SQ. FT.) AT (10 CFMS PER PERSON) AND (0.18 CFMS
 PER SQ. FT.). PLEASE SEE FOOTNOTE G WHICH PROHIBITS
 RECIRCULATION OF AIR FROM THOSE ROOMS AND SPACES.
 UPDATE THE 2014 CODE REFERENCE LISTED UNDER THE TABLE
 TO THE 2017 EDITION OF THE MECHANICAL CODE.
  
 2) SHEET M2.1 & M6.1: PLEASE LABEL OR IDENTIFY ALL OF
 THE WORK ROOMS SO THEY MATCH THE IDENTIFICATIONS LISTED
 IN THE AIR BALANCE SCHEDULE.
  
 3) M6.1: PROVIDE EXHAUST VENTILATION CALCULATION PER
 TABLE 403.3.1 FBC M WHICH REQUIRES A RATE OF 0.50 CFMS
 PER SQ. FT. FOR THE WORK AND MACHINE ROOMS.
  
 4) M2.1: AS NOTED IN COMMENT #1 ABOVE, RECIRCULATION OF
 AIR FROM THE WORK ROOM, MACHINE ROOM ETC. IS PROHIBITED
 EXCEPT THAT RECIRCULATION SHALL BE PERMITTED WHERE THE
 RESULTING SUPPLY AIRSTREAM CONSISTS OF NOT MORE THAN 10
 PERCENT AIR RECIRCULATED FROM THESE SPACES. PLEASE
 REVISE THE LAYOUT PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
  
 5) M6.1: REFER TO SECTION 501.4 FBC M AS IT APPLIES TO
 THE MACHINE ROOM WHICH APPEARS NOT TO BE AT NEUTRAL OR
 NEGATIVE PRESSURE. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIR BALANCE
 TABLE IS ALSO NOT SHOWING ANY TRANSFER AIR CFMS.
  
 6) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN ALS1.1, AND ARCHITECTURAL,
 PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL PLANS ARE IDENTIFYING THE LARGE
 WORK AREA AS A "LAB" WHICH CONFLICTS WITH THE
 ARCHITECT'S ASSERTION THAT THIS IS A WORK AREA. REFER
 TO SECTIONS 510.1 AND 510.2 FBC M AND PROVIDE A LIST OF
 ALL CHEMICALS AND THEIR QUANTITIES TO BE USED AND
 STORED AT THE FACILITY AND PROVIDE MSDS SHEETS FOR
 EACH. PLEASE NOTE A HAZARDOUS EXHAUST SYSTEM MAY BE
 REQUIRED PER SECTION 510.2. IF THE WORK AREA IS NOT
 CONSIDERED A "LAB" PLEASE CORRECTLY IDENTIFY THE ROOM
 ON ALL PLAN SHEETS AND PROVIDE A NARRATIVE THAT
 CLARIFIES WHAT PROCESSES TAKE PLACE IN THE ROOM, AND
 WHAT, IF ANY CHEMICALS AND THEIR QUANTITIES ARE USED IN
 THE PROCESSES.
  
 7) PLEASE CLARIFY THE PURPOSE OF THE NEW FIRE DAMPERS
 TO BE INSTALLED WHERE THE EXISTING DUCT IS PENETRATING
 THE OFFICE 122 WALLS. THE ARCHITECTURAL PLANS ARE NOT
 SHOWING THESE WALLS TO BE FIRE-RATED.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. ADDITIONALLY, PLEASE INSERT
 CORRECTED PLAN SHEETS INTO THE SETS, REMOVE THE
 PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS AND MARK VOID ON THEM, AND
 KEEP THEM WITH THE SUBMITTALS
