 1- THE PROPOSED STRUCTURE IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE AE
 WITH BASE FLOOD ELEVATIONS 6 AND 7. ACCORDING TO CITY
 ORDINANCE 4729-17 SEC. 18-34 THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION
 NEEDS TO BE TWO FEET FREEBOARD ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATION.
 BASEMENT FLOOR NEEDS TO BE RAISED.
  
 NOTE: ELEVATION CERTIFICATES ARE REQUIRED. INCLUDING
 CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS, DURING CONSTRUCTION AND FINAL.

 THE NEW MAPS BASED FLOOD ELEVATIONS ARE BASED NAVD
 1988. PLANS AND INFORMATION SUBMITTED ARE BASED ON NGVD
 1929. NEED TO UPDATE ALL THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED
 INCLUDING PLANS TO REFERENCE THE CURRENT ADOPTED MAPS.
 PROVIDE ALL THE INFORMATION REQUIRED BY SEC. 1603.17.7

 TO USE THE ULTIMATE WIND LOAD OF 170 MPH VULT. REVISE
 SEC. CD-3 AS REQUIRED AND CLARIFY WHY THE NOMINAL WIND
 LOAD IS 112MPH VASD INSTEAD OF 132MPHVASD?
  
 B) CODES AND DESIGN CRITERIA ON SHEET S-001 REFERENCES
 ACI 530-11. CHAPTER 35 FBC REFERENCES ACI 530-13.

 5- A) NOTICE AT RISK, THIS PERMIT IS FOR A FOUNDATION
 ONLY, PLEASE PROVIDE AN APPENDIX TO THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION, DESCRIPTION OF WORK, AS TO WHAT WORK IS TO
 BE ACCOMPLISHED UNDER THIS FOUNDATION PERMIT.
 SEC.105.13 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) THIS IA A PHASED PERMIT APPLICATION FOR FOUNDATION
 ONLY. SEC. 105.13 CITY AMENDMENTS. A THOUGHTFULLY
 REVIEW FOR BUILDING CODE COMPLIANCE CAN NOT BE DONE AT
 THIS TIME. A VERY LIMITED REVIEW WAS DONE ON THE
 LIFESAFETY PLANS SUBMITTED. INFORMATION ON THE STAIRWAY
 WAY ACCESS IS NO VERY CLEAR. ALSO, THE WAY THE TRAVEL
 DISTANCES FROM THE MOST REMOTE POINTS ARE NOT CLEAR AT
 HIS POINT. THE EXIT DISCHARGE ON SOME STAIRWAYS IS NOT
 CLEAR. BASED ON A PRELIMINARY REVIEW OF THE LIFESAFETY
 PLANS SUBMITTED IT WAS OBSERVED THAT DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL IS USING THE TOTAL SIZE OF THE DOORS FOR
 EGRESS CAPACITY CALCULATIONS. THIS IS INCORRECT. NEED
 TO USE THE CLEAR WIDTH OPENING OF THE DOOR FOR EGRESS
 CAPACITY. REVISE ALL CALCULATIONS SHOWN ON ALL PLANS AS
 REQUIRED. SEE SEC. 1010.1.1 FOR DETERMINATION OF
 MINIMUM CLEAR WIDTH OF DOOR. COMPLETE REVIEW OF LIFE
 SAFETY PLANS WILL DONE WHEN SUBMITTING THE PLANS FOR
 THE BUILDING PERMIT.
  
  
 NOTE: A FOUNDATION PERMIT MAY NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL A
 BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING.
  
  
 6- NOTICE ONLY: THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ART IN
 PUBLIC PLACES ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT THAT APPLIES TO ANY
 REMODEL OR NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR WHICH THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED AFTER 7/1/14, AND THE
 TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE EQUAL TO OR
 GREATER THAN $500,000. PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH
 ORDINANCE NO. 4504-14, AND CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE
 OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION
 78-123(A) AND SECTION 78-126(A), THE ART ASSESSMENT IS
 1% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COST.
  
  
 7- THE PROPOSED BUILDING QUALIFIES AS A THRESHOLD
 BUILDING. SPECIAL INSPECTOR IS REQUIRED. CONTACT JULIO

 SPECIAL INSPECTOR REQUIREMENTS AND APPROVAL. SEC. 110.8
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 8- SEC. 110.8.4 CITY AMENDMENTS: EACH ENFORCEMENT
 AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE THAT, ON EVERY THRESHOLD BUILDING:
  
 SEC. 110.8.4.3 ALL SHORING AND RESHORING PROCEDURES,
 PLANS AND DETAILS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR RECORD KEEPING.
 EACH SHORING AND RESHORING
 INSTALLATION SHALL BE SUPERVISED, INSPECTED AND
 CERTIFIED TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 SHORING DOCUMENTS BY THE CONTRACTOR .
  
 110.8.4.4 ALL PLANS FOR THE BUILDING WHICH ARE REQUIRED
 TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED
 BY THE ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER OF RECORD CONTAIN A
 STATEMENT THAT, TO THE BEST OF THE
 ARCHITECT'S OR ENGINEER'S KNOWLEDGE, THE PLANS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS COMPLY WITH THE
 APPLICABLE MINIMUM BUILDING CODES AND THE APPLICABLE
 FIRE-SAFETY STANDARDS AS
 DETERMINED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THIS SECTION AND CHAPTER 633.

 PEDESTRIANS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 3306.1 FBC.
  
 12-BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
