 STRUCTURE. BY USING THE SAME REPLACEMENT COSTS PER
 SQUARE FOOT ($300.00) USED BY JOHN B. TRUAX ON THE
 PROPERTY APPRAISAL DATED 02/02/2018 SUBMITTED TO OBTAIN
 THE BUILDING PERMIT 17110530, THE PROPOSED
 ADDITION/REVISION EXCEEDS THE 50 PERCENT VALUE OF THE
 EXISTING STRUCTURE. THEREFORE, THIS REVISION IS
 CONSIDERED A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT. SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT REQUIRES THE EXISTING HOUSE AND THE
 PROPOSED ADDITION TO BE 2 FEET ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD

 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT:
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT MEANS ANY COMBINATION OF
 REPAIR, RECONSTRUCTION, REHABILITATION, ALTERATION,
 ADDITION, OR OTHER IMPROVEMENT OF A BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE, FOR WHICH THE CUMULATIVE COST IN ANY FIVE
 YEAR PERIOD EQUALS OR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE MARKET
 VALUE OF THE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE AT THE END OF THE
 FIVE YEAR PERIOD AND BEFORE THE IMPROVEMENT OR REPAIR
 IS STARTED. IF THE STRUCTURE HAS INCURRED "SUBSTANTIAL
 DAMAGE," ANY REPAIRS ARE CONSIDERED SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT REGARDLESS OF THE ACTUAL REPAIR WORK
 PERFORMED.

 ATTIC ACCESS IS LOCATED IN THE OFFICE. ACCORDING TO
 ROOF FRAMING PLAN, THIS ROOM HAS A VAULTED CEILING.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED AND PROVIDE ATTIC ACCESS SIZE. SEC.
 R807 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- MISSING NEW FLITCH BEAM DETAIL 5 SPECIFIED ON THE
 ROOF FRAMING PLAN BY THE STAIRWAY BEARING WALL. PROVIDE
 DETAIL AND SPECIFICATIONS. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5-PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR THE BEAD BOARD SOFFIT SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS/SECTIONS.
  
 6- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
