 PROVIDE RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 1) REPEAT COMMENT: THE CITYPLACE MASTER SIGN PLAN
 REQUIRES THAT AWNINGS SHALL PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF EIGHT
 (8) FEET OF CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND THE LOWEST
 POINT OF THE AWNING. THE PERMIT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE
 CLEARANCE OF THE LOWEST POINT OF THE AWNING. THIS NEEDS
 TO BE SHOWN AT THE FULL EXTENSION OF 11 FEET SO THAT
 STAFF CAN VERIFY ADEQUATE CLEARANCE IN THE EVENT THAT
 THE AWING IS FULLY EXTENDED.
  
 2) REPEAT COMMENT: THE CITYPLACE MASTER SIGN PLAN
 REQUIRES THAT AWNINGS ON THE STREET LEVEL SHALL PROJECT
 FOUR (4) FEET FROM THE BUILDING FACADE, UNLESS
 OTHERWISE APPROVED BY CITYPLACE RETAIL IN WRITING. THE
 AWNINGS ARE LISTED AS PROJECTING EITHER SIX (6) OR
 SEVEN (7) FEET FROM THE BUILDING FA?ADE, DEPENDING ON
 WHICH PLAN IS USED. NO WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM CITYPLACE
 RETAIL IS PROVIDED. THIS IS REQUIRED TO BE LETTER ON
 CITYPLACE LETTER HEAD.
  
 3) NEW COMMENT: THE NEW SURVEY PROVIDED WITH THE PERMIT
 SHOWS THE AWNINGS PROJECTING SIX (6) FEET FROM THE
 BUILDING FACADE. THE ENGINEERING PLANS SHOW THE AWNING
 PROJECTING UP TO SEVEN (7) FEET FROM THE BUILDING
 FACADE. ALL SUBMITTED PLANS, SURVEYS, ETC. MUST SHOW
 THE SAME CONDITIONS.
  
 4) NEW COMMENT: HOW WILL YOU ENSURE THAT THE AWNING
 WILL ONLY BE EXTENDED TO THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED
 PROJECTION OF SEVEN (7) FEET INSTEAD OF THE POSSIBLE
 MAXIMUM OF 11 FEET? THE SURVEY SHOWS THAT THE FULL
 PROJECTION WILL ENCROACH OVER THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK WITH
 NO APPROVAL TO DO SO.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT: THE CITYPLACE MASTER SIGN PLAN
 REQUIRES THAT ALL AWNINGS ON STREET LEVEL MUST HAVE AN
 EIGHT (8) INCH VERTICAL VALANCE ALONG THE FRONT OF THE
 AWNING. THE VALANCE MUST BE PROVIDED WITH CONCEALED
 WEIGHT TO PREVENT EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT IN HIGH WINDS. NO
 INFORMATION IS PROVIDED REGARDING THE VALANCE.
