 3. PROJECT SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FAIR HOUSING ACT. FAIR
 HOUSING GUIDELINES. 2017 FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE/
 FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES. SECTION 3. FAIR
 HOUSING ACT DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS. FOR
 PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, A COVERED MULTIFAMILY
 DWELLING SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED
 FOR FIRST OCCUPANCY ON OR BEFORE MARCH 13, 1991, IF
 THEY ARE OCCUPIED BY THAT DATE OR IF THE LAST BUILDING
 PERMIT OR RENEWAL THEREOF FOR THE COVERED MULTIFAMILY
 DWELLINGS IS ISSUED BY A STATE, COUNTY OR LOCAL
 GOVERNMENT ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 13, 1990.
 3A. ACCESSIBLE PARKING - IF PROVIDED AT THE SITE,
 DESIGNATED ACCESSIBLE PARKING AT THE DWELLING UNIT ON
 REQUEST OF RESIDENTS WITH HANDICAPS ON THE SAME TERMS
 AND WITH THE FULL RANGE OF CHOICES (E.G., SURFACE
 PARKING OR GARAGE) THAT ARE PROVIDED FOR OTHER
 RESIDENTS OF THE PROJECT WITH ACCESSIBLE PARKING ON A
 ROUTE ACCESSIBLE TO WHEELCHAIRS FOR AT LEAST 2% OF THE
 COVERED DWELLING UNITS: ACCESSIBLE VISITOR PARKING
 SUFFICIENT TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO GRADE LEVEL ENTRANCES
 OF COVERED MULTIFAMILY DWELLINGS; AND ACCESSIBLE

 3B. 406 CURB RAMPS
 406.1 GENERAL.
 CURB RAMPS ON ACCESSIBLE ROUTES SHALL COMPLY WITH 406,
 405.2 THROUGH 405.5, AND 405.10.
 406.2 COUNTER SLOPE.
 COUNTER SLOPES OF ADJOINING GUTTERS AND ROAD SURFACES
 IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE CURB RAMP SHALL NOT BE
 STEEPER THAN 1:20. THE ADJACENT SURFACES AT TRANSITIONS
 AT CURB RAMPS TO WALKS, GUTTERS, AND STREETS SHALL BE
 AT THE SAME LEVEL.
 3C. ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE - REQUIREMENT 1. ACCESSIBLE
 BUILDING ENTRANCE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE.
 UNDER SECTION 100.205(A), COVERED MULTIFAMILY DWELLINGS
 SHALL BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE
 BUILDING ENTRANCE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE, UNLESS IT IS
 IMPRACTICAL TO DO SO BECAUSE OF TERRAIN OR UNUSUAL
 CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SITE.
 3D. ACCESSIBLE ROUTE - IT APPEARS THE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE
 TERMINATES AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE STEPS. PLEASE CLARIFY
 THE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE INTO THE BUILDING.
 4. IDENTIFY WHICH UNIT WILL BE HANDICAPPED ADAPTABLE
 PER 24 CFR 100.205.
 5. THE FOLLOWING PRODUCT APPROVALS IDENTIFIED IN THE
 WINDOW AND DOOR SCHEDULE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS
 SUBMITTAL -
 5A. DOORS - OPENING 01 - NOA 17-1114.01
 5B. WINDOWS - OPENINGS 05, 07, 10, 20 & 25 - NOA

 FBC 107.3.4 ? PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC RULE 9N-3 REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 SPECIFICALLY, PROVIDE ROOFING, WINDOW AND DOOR
 SUBMITTALS.
