 1) THE VALUE FOR THE POOL AND SPA APPEARS TO BE LOW.
 SUBMIT A COPY OF THE SIGNED CONTRACT TO VERIFY THE
 VALUE. FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 2) PLAN SHEETS 3 AND 4 ARE MISSING FROM THE
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 3) THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN AN AREA KNOWN TO HAVE
 QUESTIONABLE SOILS. SUBMIT TWO SETS OF A SUB-SURFACE
 SOIL INVESTIGATION REPORT WITH STRUCTURAL POOL SOIL
 BEARING REQUIREMENTS. R401.4 SOIL TESTS. WHERE
 QUANTIFIABLE DATA CREATED BY ACCEPTED SOIL SCIENCE
 METHODOLOGIES INDICATE EXPANSIVE, COMPRESSIBLE,
 SHIFTING OR OTHER QUESTIONABLE SOIL CHARACTERISTICS ARE
 LIKELY TO BE PRESENT, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL
 DETERMINE WHETHER TO REQUIRE A SOIL TEST TO DETERMINE
 THE SOIL?S CHARACTERISTICS AT A PARTICULAR LOCATION.
 THIS TEST SHALL BE DONE BY AN APPROVED AGENCY USING AN
 APPROVED METHOD.
  
 4) THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD
 AREA (FLOOD ZONE AE), THE POOL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED TO
 BE ELEVATED TO THE HEIGHT OF THE FINISH FLOOR OF THE
 DWELLING. FBC-R322
  
 5) ON SHEET S-2 THE POOL DEEP END SECTION HAS THE STEEL
 REINFORCING NOTES CROSSED OUT. PLEASE CLARIFY AND
 PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION FOR THIS PROJECT. FBC
 107.2.1.2 & CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH FLOOD ORDINANCE
  
 6) SPECIFY THE SLOPE OF THE POOL FLOOR ON SHEET 2 OF
 THE PLANS. ANSI/APSP/ICC-5 SECTION 5.5 STATES THAT THE
 SLOPE OF THE FLOOR FROM THE SHALLOW END WALL TOWARDS
 THE DEEP AREA SHALL NOT EXCEED A 1:7 INCLINE TO THE
 POINT OF THE FIRST SLOPE CHANGE. CHANGES IN SLOPE
 BETWEEN SHALLOW AND DEEP AREAS SHALL BE AT A WATER
 DEPTH OF 2 FT 9 IN AND BE AT LEAST 6 FT FROM THE
 SHALLOW END. THE SLOPE OF THE FLOOR SHALL NOT EXCEED
 1:3 INCLINE AFTER THE BREAK. FBC-R 4501.6
  
 7) PLEASE CLARIFY WHAT IS A MOD POOL FLOOR AS SHOWN ON
 POOL SPA SECTION E ON SHEET 2. FBC 107.2.1
  
 8) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT A
 RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
