 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE COVERSHEET A0.0 INDICATES UNDER THE HEADING
 BUILDING DATA THE 2017 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WHEREAS
 UNDER THE HEADING APPLICABLE CODES THE 2014 FBC IS
 LISTED AS THE FAMILY OF CODES, BUILDING, ACCESSIBILITY,
 PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, & EXISTING BUILDING CODE. PLEASE
 UPDATE THE DISCREPANCY IN PLANS. DEC. 31/ 2017 THE 2017
 OR 6TH EDITION OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WAS ADOPTED
 STATEWIDE.
  
 2) PLEASE UPDATE THE PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER THE
 DESCRIPTION OF WORK. THE APPLICATION INDICATES THE
 RENOVATION OF 9 RESTROOMS WHEREAS THE SHEET A1.1 SHOWS
 9 PATIENT RESTROOMS AND TREATMENT RESTROOM 2257 BEING
 RENOVATED, A TOTAL OF 10. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 3) THE PERMIT APPLICATION SHOWS A VALUE OF $91,420.00
 DOLLARS. THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE REQUIRES
 COMPLIANCE WITH:
 3A) 805.4 TOILET AND BATHING ROOMS. TOILET AND BATHING
 ROOMS THAT ARE PROVIDED AS PART OF A PATIENT OR
 RESIDENT SLEEPING ROOM SHALL COMPLY WITH 603. WHERE
 PROVIDED, NO FEWER THAN ONE WATER CLOSET, ONE LAVATORY,
 AND ONE BATHTUB OR SHOWER SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS OF 603 THROUGH 610.
  
 3B) PLEASE SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH ACCESS. CODE
 604.3.1 WILL BE MET:
 604.3.1 SIZE. CLEARANCE AROUND A WATER CLOSET SHALL BE
 60 INCHES (1525 MM) MINIMUM MEASURED PERPENDICULAR FROM
 THE SIDE WALL AND 56 INCHES (1420 MM) MINIMUM MEASURED
 PERPENDICULAR FROM THE REAR WALL.
  
 3C) EITHER THE DESIGNER OF RECORD OR THE CONTRACTOR CAN
 PLEASE PROVIDE ON THEIR LETTERHEAD IF DISPROPORTION
 COST WERE MET AND THE WHOLE OF THE BATHROOMS WERE NOT
 ABLE TO COME INTO COMPLETE COMPLIANCE, WHAT ELEMENTS
 WERE COVERED UNDER THE 20 % DISPROPORTION COST.
  
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES
 IN THE EVENT OF DISPROPORTIONALITY. WHEN THE COST OF
 ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE
 ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS DISPROPORTIONATE TO
 THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION, THE PATH OF TRAVEL
 SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE
 MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING DISPROPORTIONATE
 COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS TO
 PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE ELEMENTS
 THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE FOLLOWING
 ORDER: (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN ACCESSIBLE
 ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST ONE
 ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX
 RESTROOM; (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
