 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) IT WOULD APPEAR THE PLAN SUBMITTED FOR THIS REVIEW
 SHOULD HAVE A LETTER FOR SUCCESSOR ARCHITECT ATTACHED
 NOTIFYING THE ORIGINAL ARCHITECT. 61G1-18.002(2)
 PROCEDURES FOR A SUCCESSOR ARCHITECT ADOPTING AS HIS
 OWN THE WORK OF ANOTHER ARCHITECT.
  
 2) SHEET A201 & A202 HAS SEVERAL REFERENCES TO THE
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL CODE ALTHOUGH THE TITLE BLOCK INDICATES
 THIS PERMIT IS FOR RENOVATIONS TO AN APARTMENT
 BUILDING.
 2A) FLOOR PLAN NOTE 8 REFERENCES THE RESIDENTIAL CODE.
 2B) APPLICABLE CODES REFERENCES THE RESIDENTIAL CODE.
 2C) EGRESS NOTES 1 & 2 BOTH REFERENCE THE RESIDENTIAL
 CODE.
  
 3) WINDOW NOTE # 3 REFERENCES ALL SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS
 IN BEDROOMS ARE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EGRESS WINDOWS.
 PLEASE REVIEW UNDER THE 2014 FBC-B SECTION:
 3A) 1029.2 MINIMUM SIZE. EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE
 OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5.7
 SQUARE FEET .
 EXCEPTION: THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING FOR
 GRADE-FLOOR EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL
 BE 5 SQUARE FEET .
  
 3B) 1029.2.1 MINIMUM DIMENSIONS. THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR
 OPENING HEIGHT DIMENSION SHALL BE 24 INCHES. THE
 MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING WIDTH DIMENSION SHALL BE 20
 INCHES. THE NET CLEAR OPENING DIMENSIONS SHALL BE THE
 RESULT OF NORMAL OPERATION OF THE OPENING.
  
 4) NOTICE ONLY!!!! THE ARCHITECT STATES THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR FLOOR SOUND INSULATION, TO DATE THE
 CONTRACTOR HAS NOT SUBMITTED ACTUAL TEST REPORTS FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 4A) FBC-B 2014 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492.
  
 4B) FBC-B 2014 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
  
 4C) FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2014 603.1. EXCEPTION 2.
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 TYPE III-TYPE V CONSTRUCTION:
 FBC-B-2014 720.2 CONCEALED INSTALLATION. INSULATING
 MATERIALS, WHERE CONCEALED AS INSTALLED IN BUILDINGS OF
 ANY TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION, SHALL HAVE A FLAME SPREAD
 INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 25 AND A SMOKE-DEVELOPED INDEX
 OF NOT MORE THAN 450.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
