 ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND
 EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN
 DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
 CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES
 AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL. SUCH DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHALL
 CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE,
 AS TO THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS, WHERE
 QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY WITH THE TECHNICAL
 CODES.
  
 CANOPY DRAWINGS (SHOP DRAWINGS) CAN BE A DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL. 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE
 PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE
 DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT
 SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE
 TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A
 SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL
 HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE

 5) UNDER THE 1ST REVIEW THERE WERE NO DOCUMENTS
 SUBMITTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE ENERGY CODE. THERE
 ARE 2 CRITERIA THAT NEEDS TO BE DETERMINED:
  
 5A) IF THIS BUILDING MEETS THE DEFINITION OF RENOVATED
 BUILDING UNDER THE 2017 FBC-ENERGY CODE.
 RENOVATED BUILDING. A RESIDENTIAL OR NONRESIDENTIAL
 BUILDING UNDERGOING ALTERATION THAT VARIES OR CHANGES
 INSULATION, HVAC SYSTEMS, WATER HEATING SYSTEMS OR
 EXTERIOR ENVELOPE CONDITIONS, PROVIDED THE ESTIMATED
 COST OF RENOVATION EXCEEDS 30 PERCENT OF THE ASSESSED
 VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE.
  
 5B) 2017 FBC-ENERGY CODE C401.2 APPLICATION. COMMERCIAL
 BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
 1.THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1, EXCLUDING
 SECTION 9.4.1.1(G) OF THE STANDARD.
 2.THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402 THROUGH C405. IN
 ADDITION, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION C406 AND TENANT SPACES SHALL COMPLY
 WITH SECTION C406.1.1.
 3.THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402.5, C403.2, C404,
 C405.2, C405.3, C405.5, C405.6 AND C407.
 THE BUILDING ENERGY COST SHALL BE EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN
 85 PERCENT OF THE STANDARD REFERENCE
 DESIGN BUILDING.
  
 6) SHEET S0.1:
 6A) SHEET S0.1 INDICATES UNDER NOTE # 2 THE DESIGN AND
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE BASED ON THE 2014 FBC-B. THE
 PLANS WERE SIGNED AND DATED 12/15/2017. THE PLANS WERE
 SUBMITTED ON FEB. 02/2018. DEC.31/2017 THE 6TH EDITION
 OR 2017 FBC FAMILY OF CODES WAS ADOPTED STATEWIDE.
