 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) ACCORDING TO THE FBC EXISTING BUILDING, THIS PROJECT
 IS CONSIDERED A LEVEL 3 ALTERATION. SPECIFY THE LEVEL
 OF ALTERATION ON THE PLANS. FBC EXISTING BUILDING
 SECTION 505
  
 2) THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLANS THAT WERE SUBMITTED SHOW
 CHANGES TO THE EXTERIOR DOORS AND WINDOWS OF THE
 STRUCTURE. PROVIDE A COMPLETE SCOPE OF WORK ON THE
 PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 3) PROVIDE A DOOR SCHEDULE WITH SIZES ON THE PLANS. FBC

 4) PROVIDE A DETAIL SHOWING HOW THE OPENINGS IN THE
 EXTERIOR WALLS WILL BE INFILL-ED. INCLUDING INSULATION,
 INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR WALL COVERINGS. FBC-R702 AND R703
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R310.1 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE REQUIRED. BASEMENTS, HABITABLE ATTICS AND EVERY
 SLEEPING ROOM SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE OPERABLE
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING. IDENTIFY THE
 EGRESS WINDOWS FOR THE SECOND FLOOR BEDROOMS ON THE
 PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 6) FBC-R314.3.1 ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS.
 WHEN ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS OR ADDITIONS REQUIRING A
 PERMIT OCCUR, OR WHEN ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS ARE
 ADDED OR CREATED IN EXISTING DWELLINGS, THE INDIVIDUAL
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SMOKE ALARMS
 LOCATED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DWELLINGS.
  
 7) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH
 FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE EXTERIOR DOORS AND
 WINDOWS. PRODUCT APPROVALS HAVE NOT BEEN APPROVED IN
 WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 8) THE PROPOSED ELEVATIONS ON A-4 SHOW A LARGER LAUNDRY
 ROOM AT THE REAR THAN IS SHOWN ON THE EXISTING
 ELEVATIONS ON SHEET A-3. THE LAUNDRY ROOM IS SHOWN WITH
 A FLAT ROOF ON THE EXISTING ELEVATIONS AND WITH A SHED
 ROOF ON THE PROPOSED. THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLANS AND
 ELECTICAL PLANS DO NOT SHOW THIS ROOM. NO INFORMATION
 IS PROVIDED FOR ADDING ON TO OR REMODELING THIS ROOM.
 COMPLETE DETAILS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROOM.
 CLARIFY. FBC 107.1.2
  
 9) INTERIOR WALL DETAIL 1 ON A-2, SPECIFIES STUCCO OVER
 PAPER BACKED METAL LATH ON 5/8" CDX PLYWOOD SHEATHING.
 THIS APPEARS TO BE AN ERROR, PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 10) PRODUCT APPROVALS WERE SUBMITTED FOR AWNING WINDOWS
 AND FIXED CASEMENT WINDOWS. THESE WINDOWS ARE NOT
 SPECIFIED IN THE WINDOW SCHEDULE. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 11) DOORS #3 AND #4 ARE SHOWN ON SHEET A-4. THEY APPEAR
 TO BE 6 PANEL COLONIAL STYLE DOORS. THERE WERE NO
 PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED FOR THESE DOORS. SUBMIT
 PRODUCT APPROVALS PER FBC107.3.4.
  
 12) THE PLANS REFERENCE THE FBC FIFTH EDITION (2014).
 THE FBC SIXTH EDITION (2017) WENT INTO EFFECT ON
 JANUARY 1, 2018. ALL NEW PERMITS APPLIED FOR ON OR
 AFTER THAT DATE ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH AND
 REFERENCE THE FBC SIXTH EDITION (2017).
  
 13) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
 COMMENTS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
