 YOUR SUBMITTAL IS DEFICIENT FOR THE REASONS LISTED
 BELOW.
 DUE TO THE DEFICIENCIES OF THIS PLAN, A COMPLETE AND
 THOROUGH REVIEW CANNOT BE PERFORMED AT THIS TIME. UPON
 RE-SUBMITTAL, ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE MADE.
  
 1. VALUE APPEARS LOW FOR THE PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK.
 2. THE PATIO SLAB, PERMIT #17061216 WAS PERMITTED AS
 FLAT WORK. PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT THE SLAB HAS A MINIMUM
 8 INCH X 8 INCH FOOTING WITH AT LEAST ONE #5
 RE-INFORCING STEEL INSTALLED.
 3. DESIGNER TO PRINT NAME AND SIGN PLAN.
 4. PROVIDE DESIGN WIND LOADS FOR THE FOLLOWING: WALLS,
 ROOF, SIDING, WINDOWS AND DOORS OPENINGS.
 5. PROVIDE FASTENER SCHEDULE FOR THE FOLLOWING: BASE
 PLATE TO FOUNDATION, BASE PLATE TO EXT. WALL, EXT. WALL
 TO TOP PLATE, TOP PLATE TO RAFTER, RAFTER TO CEILING
 JOISTS AND ROOF SHEATHING PER DESIGN WIND LOADS.
 6. PROVIDE FRAMING DETAIL FOR WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS.
 7. PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 ROOFING, SIDING, WINDOWS AND DOORS.
 8. ROOFING PERMIT REQUIRED.
  
 THE PERMIT VALUATION AND PERMIT FEE MUST BE
 COMMENSURATE WITH THE VALUATION AND FEE THAT A LICENSED
 CONTRACTOR WOULD PROVIDE.
 YOU MAY PROVIDE A COPY OF THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY THE
 OWNER OR A LIST OF LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
 RENTAL TO VERIFY VALUE.

 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATIONS. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE
 UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED, UNLESS THE APPLICANT CAN SHOW DETAILED,
 QUANTITY ESTIMATES, AND/OR BONA FIDE SIGNED CONTRACTS
 (EXCLUDING LAND VALUE) TO MEET THE APPROVAL OF THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION
 OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT
 VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC, PLUMBING,
 MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH, RELATIVE SITE WORK,
 ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COSTS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION
 COST ANALYSIS SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.),
 AS PUBLISHED BY INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS.
 FINAL BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 YOU MAY PROVIDE A COPY OF THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY THE
 OWNER OR A LIST OF LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
 RENTAL TO VERIFY VALUE.
  
 FOOTINGS
  
 R403.1 GENERAL.
  
 ALL EXTERIOR WALLS SHALL BE SUPPORTED ON CONTINUOUS
 SOLID OR FULLY GROUTED MASONRY OR CONCRETE FOOTINGS,
 CRUSHED STONE FOOTINGS, WOOD FOUNDATIONS, OR OTHER
 APPROVED STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS WHICH SHALL BE OF
 SUFFICIENT DESIGN TO ACCOMMODATE ALL LOADS ACCORDING TO
 SECTION R301 AND TO TRANSMIT THE RESULTING LOADS TO THE
 SOIL WITHIN THE LIMITATIONS AS DETERMINED FROM THE
 CHARACTER OF THE SOIL. FOOTINGS SHALL BE SUPPORTED ON
 UNDISTURBED NATURAL SOILS OR ENGINEERED FILL. CONCRETE
 FOOTING SHALL BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION R403 OR IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH ACI 332.
  
 R403.1.1 MINIMUM SIZE.
  
 THE MINIMUM WIDTH, W, AND THICKNESS, T, FOR CONCRETE
 FOOTINGS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH TABLES R403.1(1)
 THROUGH R403.1(3) AND FIGURE R403.1(1) AS APPLICABLE.
 MINIMUM SIZES FOR CONCRETE AND MASONRY FOOTINGS SHALL
 ALSO BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE RESISTANCE TO
 UPLIFT AND OVERTURN OF THE BUILDING AS DETERMINED FROM
 TABLE R401.1 AND SECTION R403.1.2 OR AS CALCULATED
 USING ENGINEERED DESIGN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING. THE FOOTING WIDTH SHALL BE
 BASED ON THE LOAD-BEARING VALUE OF THE SOIL IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE R401.4.1.
  
 FBC 107.3.5.3 - PROVIDE WIND DESIGN LOADS/DESIGN
 PRESSURES PURSUANT TO FBC-R301.2.
  
 R301.2.1 WIND DESIGN CRITERIA.
 BUILDINGS AND PORTIONS THEREOF SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE WIND PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE USING
 THE BASIC WIND SPEED IN TABLE R301.2(1) AS DETERMINED
 FROM FIGURE R301.2(4). THE STRUCTURAL PROVISIONS OF
 THIS CODE FOR WIND LOADS ARE NOT PERMITTED WHERE WIND
 DESIGN IS REQUIRED AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION R301.2.1.1.
 WHERE DIFFERENT CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND STRUCTURAL
 MATERIALS ARE USED FOR VARIOUS PORTIONS OF A BUILDING,
 THE APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION FOR EACH
 PORTION SHALL APPLY. WHERE NOT OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, THE
 WIND LOADS LISTED IN TABLE R301.2(2) ADJUSTED FOR
 HEIGHT AND EXPOSURE USING TABLE R301.2(3) SHALL BE USED
 TO DETERMINE DESIGN LOAD PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR
 WALL COVERINGS, CURTAIN WALLS, ROOF COVERINGS, EXTERIOR
 WINDOWS, SKYLIGHTS AND EXTERIOR DOORS (OTHER THAN
 GARAGE DOORS).
  
 FBC 107.2.1 ALL INFORMATION, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS
 AND ACCOMPANYING DATA SHALL BEAR THE NAME AND SIGNATURE
 OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN. (SEE ALSO
 SECTION 107.3.5) AND F.S. 481.229.
  
 FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC RULE 9N-3 REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 SPECIFICALLY, PROVIDE ROOFING, WINDOW AND DOOR
 SUBMITTALS.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED
 MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS.
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. PLEASE, ADDITIONALLY, INSERT
 CORRECTED PAGES INTO SUBMITTAL AND LEAVE THE PREVIOUSLY
