 NOTE:
 PRELIMINARY RESPONSE TO ARCHITECT'S E-MAIL
 GOOD MORNING MR.ACREE,
 IT LOOKS LIKE THE 32"X56" CASEMENT WINDOW COMPLIES WITH
 THE EGRESS. THIS IS THE MAIN CONCERN. THE REST OF THE
 COMMENTS I DIDN'T SEE THE REVISED PLANS, BUT I BELIEVED
 THEY MIGHT BE TAKEN CARE OF. THE ONLY THING IS
 REGARDING THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE. IF YOU ARE DESIGNING
 THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE YOU NEED TO PROVIDE ALL THE
 STRUCTURAL DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS OR WRITE IN THE
 DRAWINGS UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT. TYPICALLY, SCREEN
 ENCLOSURES ARE DESIGNED BY THE SCREEN COMPANIES
 ENGINEERS. I AM NOT AWARE OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 SCREEN ENCLOSURE DOORS. ALL OF THE COMPONENT OF THE
 SCREEN ENCLOSURES ARE DESIGNED BY THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE
 ENGINEER.
 IN TERMS OF REQUIRED DRAWINGS, WE ONLY REQUIRE 2
 COMPLETE SETS OF PLANS. IF PLUMBING, MECHANICAL OR
 ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS ARE APPROVED AND THEY ARE NOT
 REVISED, THEN THERE IS NOT NEED TO SUBMIT NEW DRAWINGS.
 IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO PUT
 TOGETHER TWO COMPLETE SETS. INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING
 AND REMOVE OLD DRAWING. IF TWO NEW COMPLETE SETS ARE
 PROVIDED, THEN THEY WILL BE ROUTED TO EACH TRADE EVEN
 IF THEY ARE ALREADY APPROVED SO THE PLANS GET
 RE-STAMPED.

 REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH
 EDITION (2014). ALL THE WINDOWS ARE FIXED WINDOWS.
 REVISE PLANS AS REQUIRED. NEED TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY
 ESCAPE. NOTE: MAKE SURE EMERGENCY ESCAPE MEETS ALL THE
 MINIMUM CLEAR OPENINGS REQUIREMENTS. CLEAR WIDTH (20"),
 CLEAR HEIGHT (24") AND TOTAL CLEAR OPENING (5.7S.F.).
 RESPONSE: 24"X44" CASEMENT WINDOW SPECIFIED IN THE
 WINDOW SCHEDULE DOESN'T COMPLY WITH ALL THE EGRESS
 REQUIREMENTS FOR A SECOND FLOOR EGRESS WINDOW.
 CONTACTED COMPANY SHOWN ON THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 SUBMITTED FOR FIXED WINDOWS AND SLIDING WINDOWS AND
 THEY CONFIRMED THAT THIS SIZE OF CASEMENT WINDOW
 DOESN'T COMPLY.

 RESPONSE: STRUCTURAL FRAMING DETAIL WAS NOT PROVIDED.
  
 4- HOUSE IS DESIGNED WITH UNVENTED ATTIC. ARCHITECT IS
 SPECIFYING R-30 ICYNENE SPRAY INSULATION. PROVIDE ICC
 EVALUATION REPORT (2 COPIES) FOR THE ICYNENE R-30
 INSULATION TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R316
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: ARCHITECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVE THE REPORT IN
