 THE SEATING COUNT FOUND ON THE COVER SHEET. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) SHEET C-1 THE COVERSHEET ALSO INDICATES THIS IS A
 LEVEL II ALTERATION. THE 2014 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE. AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEMS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 ALL WORK AREAS WHEN REQUIRED BY SECTION 804.2 OR THIS
 SECTION. THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 804.2.2
 GROUP A OCCUPANCY. WILL REQUIRE AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER
 PROTECTION WHERE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OCCUR:
 1. THE WORK AREA IS REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED WITH
 AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER PROTECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING AS APPLICABLE TO NEW
 CONSTRUCTION; AND
 2. THE WORK AREA EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE FLOOR AREA.
  
 4) SHEET 1.4A THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET:
  
 4A) THE MAIN ENTRY THERE IS EMERGENCY POWERED EXIT
 LIGHTING BUT TO THE LEFT OF THIS AREA THERE IS A LARGE
 DINING AREA AND THE NORTH AND SOUTH EXTERIOR DINING
 AREAS ARE WITHOUT ANY EMERGENCY POWERED BACKUP LIGHTS.
 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-B 1006.1 AND 1011.1
 WHERE EXITS SIGNS ARE REQUIRED.
  
 4B) PLEASE SHOW HOW MANY AND WHICH OF THE EXITS HAVE
 LEVEL EXIT DISCHARGES TO THE PUBLIC WAY. MEANING THERE
 ARE NO DROPS IN ELEVATION OVER 1/4 INCH OR THERE IS
 SLOPED OR RAMPED SIDEWALKS, DROPPED CURB CUTS ETC...
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE IN ADDITION TO ENTRANCES
 REQUIRED BY 206.4.2 THROUGH 206.4.9, AT LEAST 60
 PERCENT OF ALL PUBLIC ENTRANCES SHALL COMPLY WITH 404.
 BARRIERS AT COMMON OR EMERGENCY ENTRANCES AND EXITS OF
 BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH THE
 GENERAL PUBLIC THAT ARE EXISTING, UNDER CONSTRUCTION,
 OR UNDER CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION WHICH WOULD PREVENT
 A PERSON FROM USING SUCH ENTRANCES OR EXITS SHALL BE
 REMOVED.
  
 4C) THE OCCUPANT LOAD OF THE NORTH EXTERIOR SEATING
 AREA EXCEEDS 50 OCCUPANTS REQUIRING 2 MEANS OF EGRESS.

 PLEASE NOTE WITH A NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDING THE EXITS
 NEED TO BE 1/2 THE OVERALL DIAGONAL DISTANCE APART.

 I JUST WANTED TO RECAP OUR CONVERSATION TODAY AND THE
 POINTS MR. BROWN WANTED TO SEE IN THE NEXT REVIEW
 CYCLE. THE TENANT ON THE 1ST FLOOR DOES HAVE A OCCUPANT
 LOAD OVER 300. ROBERT WAS OK IN NOT FIRE SPRINKLERING
 THE TENANT SPACE IF THE PLANS SHOW THE OCCUPANTS ON THE
 NORTH AND SOUTH EXTERIOR SPACES & BARS WOULD NOT HAVE
 TO GO BACK INSIDE THE MAIN BUILDING BUT EXIT THROUGH
 THE 2 EXITS DIRECTLY TO THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING
 WITHIN THE NORTH AND SOUTH OPEN AREAS. THAT SINCE THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD ON BOTH SIDES HAD AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50
 OR MORE, THAT FOR BOTH SIDES THERE WOULD BE (2) EXITS
 DIRECTLY TO THE EXTERIOR. TO NOTE ON THE PLANS THAT
 BOTH THE NORTH AND SOUTH AREAS ARE OPEN TO THE EXTERIOR
 TO ALLOW PARTICLES OF SMOKE TO DISSIPATE QUICKLY THE
 ONLY BARRIERS ON THE 2 EXTERIOR AREAS BEING GRILLE WORK
 FOR SECURITY. WITH THIS INFORMATION ADDED TO THE PLANS
 BUILDING WOULD BE ABLE TO PASS THE REVIEW WITHOUT THE
 ADDITION OF FIRE SPRINKLERS.
