 PLAN REVIEW RESULTS: DENIED.
  
 1) THE PROPOSED APARTMENT IS DEFINED AS A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY PER SECTION 202 FBC-14 EXISTING BUILDING,
 HOWEVER BASED ON THE BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS, IT
 APPEARS THAT THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF THE NEW
 APARTMENT, WHETHER R2 OR R3 IS STILL IN QUESTION. REFER
 TO SECTIONS C101.4.4 AND R101.4.4 FBC-14 ENERGY
 CONSERVATION AND PROVIDE AN ENERGY COMPLIANCE SUBMITTAL
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH EITHER SECTION C101.5.1 OR R101.5.1.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SUBMITTED C402-1014 FORM SHALL NOT
 BE USED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE FOR A COMMERCIAL SPACE
 CHANGED TO AN R3 OR R2 OCCUPANCY.
  
 2) BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS 2B AND 2C ARE INDICATING
 THE THAT FIRE-RATED SEPARATION WALLS MAY BE REQUIRED
 BETWEEN THE BEDROOMS AND TO SEPARATE THE GYM. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT FIRE DAMPERS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR DUCTS
 PENETRATING THESE WALLS PENDING RESOLUTION OF THIS
 ISSUE.
  
 3) REFER TO TABLE 403.3 IN REGARD TO O/A CALCULATIONS
 FOR THE GYM. PENDING RESOLUTION OF THE OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION, ADDITIONAL O/A MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE
 GYM. THREE OPTIONS ARE LISTED IN THE TABLE UNDER SPORTS
 AND AMUSEMENT. PLEASE CHOOSE WHICH OPTION BEST SUITS
 THE USE OF THE ROOM.
  
 4) EXHAUST VENTILATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE KITCHEN AT A
 RATE OF 100 CFMS INTERMITTENT OR 25 CFMS CONTINUOUS-
 SEE 403.3 FBC-14 MECHANICAL OR TABLE M1507.4 FBC-14
 RESIDENTIAL AND INDICATE COMPLIANCE. CLARIFY IF A RANGE
 HOOD WILL BE INSTALLED OVER THE RANGE AND SUBMIT
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR BOTH THE RANGE AND THE HOOD.
  
 5) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER' SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DRYER
 AND INDICCATE THE RATE OF MAKEUP AIR REQUIRED AND HOW
 IT IS BEING PROVIDED.
  
 THE MECHANICAL REVIEW IS STOPPED AT THIS TIME PENDING
 PLAN REVISIONS TO CLARIFY THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 OF THE NEW APARTMENT.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. ADDITIONALLY, PLEASE INSERT
 CORRECTED PLAN SHEETS INTO THE SETS, REMOVE THE
 PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS AND MARK VOID ON THEM, AND
 KEEP THEM WITH THE SUBMITTALS.
