 6A. THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN FL S. S. 553.71(7). 2010
 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 109.3.6.1 THE ENFORCING
 AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE A (WRITTEN/ TYPED) SPECIAL
 INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS ON A
 THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A STRUCTURAL INSPECTION
 PLAN PREPARED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE STRUCTURAL

 INTEREST, NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THIS OFFICE, AND
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE WILL TAKE
 PLACE.
  
 6C. FOR THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
 WILL AN INSPECTOR BE INTERVIEWED FOR WORK WITHOUT FIRST

 6D. A FOUNDATION PERMIT IS IN APPLICATION 17090201 AND
 HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED AT THIS POINT. PLEASE SUBMIT THE
 THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN, SOILS REPORTS AND THRESHOLD
 APPLICATION WITH THIS PERMIT AS WELL.
  
 7. PLEASE SHOW HOW SLOPE LIMITS WILL BE ACHIEVED. 2014
 FBC 3304.1.1 SLOPE LIMITS. SLOPES FOR PERMANENT FILL
 SHALL NOT BE STEEPER THAN ONE UNIT VERTICAL IN TWO
 UNITS HORIZONTAL (50-PERCENT SLOPE). CUT SLOPES FOR
 PERMANENT EXCAVATIONS SHALL NOT BE STEEPER THAN ONE
 UNIT VERTICAL IN TWO UNITS HORIZONTAL (50-PERCENT
 SLOPE). DEVIATION FROM THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS FOR
 CUT SLOPES SHALL BE PERMITTED ONLY UPON THE
 PRESENTATION OF A SOIL INVESTIGATION REPORT ACCEPTABLE
 TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 8. SURCHARGE LOADS SHALL BE PLACED ADJACENT TO ANY
 BUILDING OR STRUCTURE UNLESS SUCH BUILDING OR STRUCTURE
 IS CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING THE ADDITIONAL LOADS CAUSED
 BY THE FILL OR SURCHARGE. EXISTING FOOTINGS OR
 FOUNDATIONS WHICH CAN BE AFFECTED BY ANY EXCAVATION
 SHALL BE UNDERPINNED ADEQUATELY OR OTHERWISE PROTECTED
 AGAINST SETTLEMENT AND SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST LATER

 9. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH: POLLUTION PREVENTION
 PLAN. 2014 FBC-B 3307.1 PROTECTION REQUIRED. ADJOINING

 BE DELIVERED NOT LESS THAN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE
 SCHEDULED STARTING DATE OF THE EXCAVATION.
  
 10. IMPACT OF CONSTRUCTION 109.3.10. ALL CONSTRUCTION

 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 SPECIFICALLY, PROVIDE ROOFING, EXTERIOR WINDOW, AND
 DOORS, STOREFRONT , OVERHEAD DOORS, ROOF HATCH, LOUVERS
 AND NANA WALLS. DATA SHEET FOR ELEVATOR.
  
 ALTERNATIVELY YOU CAN SUBMIT THESE LATER AS A DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL BY LISTING THEM ON THE COVER SHEET.
  
 FBC 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 23. CONFIRM THAT THE NANA WALL ASSEMBLY USED WILL
 EXCEED THE PRESSURES FOR THE AREAS THAT THEY ARE
 LOCATED. OFTEN THESE DOORS DO NOT MEET THE PRESSURE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TYPE OF BUILDING. FBC CHAPTER 16
 FOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING.
  
 24. PROVIDE THE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW MAXIMUM AREA OF
 EXTERIOR WALL OPENINGS BASED ON FIRE SEPARATION
 DISTANCE AND DEGREE OF OPENING PROTECTION ON THE WEST
 SIDE OF THE HOTEL AND THE PROPOSED BUILDING ALONG THAT
 WEST WALL.

 THE MAXIMUM AREA OF UNPROTECTED AND PROTECTED OPENINGS

 *VOID*. PLEASE KEEP BOTH SETS OF OLD VOIDED SHEETS IN
 THE PERMIT PACKAGE.
