 "NET UPLIFT" DESIGN PRESSURES APPEAR LOW FOR COMPONENTS
 AND CLADDING. SEE ENGINEER'S CALCULATIONS, (OUR PAGE
 200 OF 235), APPEARS TO STATE ZONE 1 -39.50, ZONE 2 AND
 3 -66.28 PSF, WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE "GROSS
 UPLIFT PRESSURES" SPECIFIED.
  
 THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING "NET UPLIFT" DESIGN PRESSURES
 IS NOT CLEAR, AND IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE APPLICABLE
 FOR COMPONENTS & CLADDING. CONTRACTOR HAS PROPOSED TO
 UTILIZE THE HIGHER "GROSS UPLIFT" DESIGN PRESSURES,
 WHICH APPEAR ADEQUATE AND ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE TABLE
 IN ASCE7-10.
  
 TO ADDRESS - WHEN RESUBMITTING, CONTRACTOR IS TO
 UTILIZE DESIGN PRESSURES OF -39.50 ZONE 1, -66.28 ZONES
 2/3.
  
 NEW COMMENT:
  
 4. PER ZONING INSPECTION, THE CONTRACTOR HAS EXCEEDED
 THE SCOPE OF THE DEMOLITION PORTION OF THE RENOVATION
 PERMIT (17021163). WALLS WHICH WERE TO REMAIN WERE
 REMOVED. CONTRACTOR IS TO SUBMIT A REVISION INCLUDING
 THIS WORK IMMEDIATELY. AN INSPECTION HOLD HAS BEEN
 PLACED ON THE PARCEL. THIS ROOF PERMIT WILL NOT BE
 ISSUED UNTIL THIS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED. APPLICANT MAY
 RESUBMIT, BUT ISSUANCE MAY BE DELAYED UNTIL OTHER ISSUE
