 PLEASE PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO COMMENTS.
  
 1) THE NORTHWOOD MIXED USE DISTRICT REQUIRES THAT
 RENOVATIONS OR ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING BUILDINGS WHICH
 EXCEED 50 PERCENT OF THE BUILDING VALUE (PAPA VALUE
 $54,433 AND PERMIT VALUE $100,000) REQUIRE 70 PERCENT
 OF THE FRONT FACADE, MEASURED BETWEEN TWO AND EIGHT
 FEET FROM THE GROUND,TO BE CLEAR GLAZING. PLEASE
 PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN
 MET.
  
 2) THE NORTHWOOD MIXED USE DISTRICT REQUIRES THAT
 WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS SHALL BE VERTICAL OR SQUARE IN
 PROPORTION. PLEASE PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT THIS
 REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN MET.
  
 3) THE NORTHWOOD MIXED USE DISTRICT REQUIRES THAT
 WINDOWS SHALL BE RECESSED A MINIMUM OF TWO INCHES FROM
 THE EXTERIOR FACE OF THE FACADE. PLEASE PROVIDE
 VERIFICATION THAT THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN MET.
  
 4) THE VALUE OF THE CONSTRUCTION ($1000,000) EXCEEDS
 50% OF THE STRUCTURE'S VALUE ($54,433) ACCORDING TO THE
 P.B.C. PROPERTY APPRAISER'S OFFICE; THEREFORE, PURSUANT
 TO SECTION 94-441(C)(2) OF THE ZONING AND LAND
 DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ZLDR), THE LANDSCAPE ON THE
 SITE SHALL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE
 REGULATIONS FOUND IN ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZLDR. IF THE
 SITE CONFORMS TO ARTICLE XIV, THEN TWO (2) COPIES OF A
 LANDSCAPE PLAN DEMONSTRATING COMPLIANCE SHALL BE
 INCLUDED WITH THE PERMIT RE-SUBMITTAL. IF THE SITE DOES
 NOT CONFORM TO ARTICLE XIV, THEN PRIOR TO THE ZONING
 APPROVAL OF THIS PERMIT A SEPARATE LANDSCAPE PERMIT AND
 IRRIGATION PERMIT SHALL BE SUBMITTED SHOWING MATERIAL
 TO BRING THE SITE INTO CONFORMITY.
  
 5) SHEET A.3 CALLS OUT EQUIPMENT B9 FOR BEER. PLEASE
 EXPLAIN WHY BEER IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE. THE
 BUILDING USE IS PROPOSED AS A JUICE BAR, WITH NO FOOD
 INCLUDED. THE SALES OF BEER AT THIS LOCATION CHANGES
 THE USE CLASSIFICATION TO AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
 ESTABLISHMENT. BASED ON PRELIMINARY DISTANCE SEPARATION
 REQUIREMENTS, IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT AN ALCOHOLIC
 BEVERAGE ESTABLISHMENT IS PERMITTED AT THIS LOCATION.
